Broner/Rees press conference.
Broner being his usual cocky self and Rees seems eager to throw a punch in his direction. Really hope Rees can ignore all the mind games and focus on his own plan, it'll be hard enough if he is fully focused but if he lets Broner get to him it'll be very painful.

No mind games here, none needed unfortunately. Just Broner being Broner.
I hate him so much I love him.

I really think that this is a mismatch, I really like Rees, I don't want him to get embarrassed.

Re: Broner/Rees press conference.
I think people are slightly overlooking Rees or perhaps singing the praises of Broner a bit too much
I rate him as highly as anyone but it wasn't too long ago when he was lucky to escape with a decision against De Leon (who isn't even a natural feather let alone a Superfeather) where he couldn't deal with De Leon's educated pressure particularly to the body
Rees has campaigned alot of his career at lightwelter and hasn't been rocked regularly. He isn't world class but has good handspeed, good movement and solid chin.
At Superfeather Broner walked through his opponents as he had huge weight advantages, to the point where he couldn't be bothered to get to the weight division limit, and untill DeMarco it wasn't like any of his previous opponents has real pedigree that was higher than Gavin's
Broner should win probably by stoppage but don't think it's a total mismatch

Re: Broner/Rees press conference.
Agree pretty much with WHU. I think Gavin's best chance is to "have a go" and see where it gets him. Standing off and pot-shotting will make it an early night. Take the fight to Broner and see what happens.
I am not expecting Rees to win, but I do expect him to come out of this on his shield. But it does only take one punch...

I feel for Rees. Too brave for his own good. I see a towel being thrown in within 3 rounds. A painful one sided drubbing.
Having a go will make the end quicker and probably less paindul. So its pretty much his best option.

Re: Broner/Rees press conference.
Broner KO around the 7th? Rees should just get at him and be as rough on the inside as the ref allows, even if it costs him points. He isn't getting a decision in Atlantic City, so get in there and try and dismantle him. That said, Broner is as class an act inside the ring as we are likely to see in the next ten years and should win this by KO

Well... I do actually think that Broner has improved since then to be fair and has adapted to what happened against De Leon and is now a much more active fighter and is using his physical advantages a lot more now to wear fighters down and using educated pressure.
Think rees can ask a question or two, but Broner will most certainly answer with no problems, just hope Rees doesn't get made to look extremely ordinary.
