Record: 7-9
Offensive Rank: 27th (Passing: 26th, Rushing: 17th)
Defensive Rank: 21st (Passing: 27th, Rushing: 13th)

What went well?

Ryan Tannehill had some bright moments, as did Hartline and Bush. Wake was a beast.

What went badly?
The Dolphins struggled for consistency on offense as Tannehill went through some growing pains, Bush missed time. Secondary struggled greatly in the passing game. Jake Long had a down year.

Prospects for 2013?
Miami appears set to spend big on Jennings and/or Wallace to give Tannehill some targets. Bush and Hartline appear set to walk however. Ultimately Miami would need a big season from Tannehill to boost itself into the wildcard picture, and much improved secondary play with Sean Smith set to walk.

Projected 2013 Draft Pick?
Miami could use a WR and LT but both are heavily stocked in FA. Miami needs to get better vs the pass, and for my money the best player to upgrade their secondary at this point is Kenny Vaccaro.

Many mocks have them taking a WR in the 1st round but I agree that they'll probably get a decent WR in the free agency.

I can definitely see them getting Greg Jennings and possibly drafting Texas A&M receiver Ryan Swope in the later rounds. Both wideouts have coaching connections in Miami and will fit their system.

I do think Vaccaro would be a good pick up but it will be interesting to see if they use all their picks or trade up?

If Miami can add something even looking like a secondary there defence will be very good. Extremely good against the run

Tannehill's got it in him, they need to get some quality targets for him. However, I do think they need to sort out the secondary though as a priority, Kenny Vaccaro could be the man. Could be another frustrating year for the QB.

I don't think Miami leaves FA without a WR. Jennings seems to want to be a Dolphin.
