32 teams in 32 days: San Francisco 49ers
Record: 11-4-1
Offensive Rank: 11th (Passing: 23rd, Rushing: 4th)
Defensive Rank: 3rd (Passing: 4th, Rushing: 4th)
What went well?
Kaepernick gave the offense an explosive option Smith couldn't. Crabtree finally lived up to his draft billing. Aldon Smith continued building his reputation as an elite pass rusher. The front 7 is the best in football by a distance.
What went badly?
Pass rush was kinda intermittent, and when it didn't get there, theres a weak secondary behind it. Justin Smiths injury allowed teams to nullify Aldon Smith. The read option was kinda streaky, though this extends to all teams that ran it this year.
Prospects for 2013?
The 49ers have the best roster in the NFL and plenty of draft picks to boost it. I would however suggest they use all their picks, as with all the contracts they'll be doling out soon, cheap depth will be needed.
Projected 2013 Draft Pick?
The 49ers need to get better on the backend, as teams went after them in the postseason. Goldson's walking in FA, Whitner sucks in coverage, Matt Elam is an obvious upgrade here and fits the kind of physical players they like.

The popular pick seems to be a guy to develop under Justin Smith but with another selection after just Jacksonville and Baltimore I think the same DE/DT guys will be on the board where as Elam could be gone.

Jesse Williams seems to be the consensus pick on most mock drafts. Although they have two picks pretty close together so could probably take both.

Could they not trade up and snag Kenny Vaccaro or Jonathon Cyprien with their multitude of picks
