Race for the championship
*Today Daniel Magnusson made a statement on behalf of EWF regarding the current world title situation. Magnusson told the press that with the first IPPV still “weeks” away there was plenty of time to name a deserving number one contender to the EWF World Championship, currently held by Jason Sparkz.
Magnusson went on to say that he has identified four current EWF superstars who he believes are in the running for this opportunity and he has called for them to face off on the next edition of Conflict, to prove that they are ready to make the final push towards the top of the mountain.
As well as this, it is widely rumoured that following this week’s edition of Conflict, EWF TV Champion, Liam Wood, has met with Magnusson and demanded that he be allowed to special guest referee the upcoming number contender’s match involving his rival, Alex Garcia. Magnusson refused to comment on this situation for the time being.
He was also happy to report that the EWF roster is “growing” and the promotion is excited and confident that they will be bringing many new and exciting ventures to the fans in the very near future.
Magnusson was also coy on rumours that he had met with several top television executives in recent days, saying that we would have to “wait and see”.
But it certainly looks like things are looking up for this promotion, the future is certainly bright.
