Give them a break. WTF are they supposed to do?! Unless they've got Bill McClaren knocking round in a cupboard for special occasions?

Not employing Jiffy in the "first team" would at least mean they had 50% professional commentary with a man down

Jiffy's problem is he cannot commentate. He can only give his opinion on what he thinks should happen.

That's what Jiffy is there for though. He's there as the pundit. Not his fault he's been forced into main commentator.

Yeah Jiff's a colour commentator, his purpose is simply to fill in and drop facts and opinions rather than give a blow for blow account of what's happening. Unfortunately Shane's a pundit so very similar, still they're making an effort and i love 'em both so it's okay, also Shane's gonna be much more knowledgeable about the current welsh side's strengths etc.

Nice to hear the Taffies in the crowd having a sing song.
3-9 at 22 minutes. We need a try now to get it going...

to be fair to them, it has been all wales so far so they could just be commentating that.

Griff for a whole 30 minute though??
I think both teams are afraid to attack because of conditions and both defences are looking good.
We are in an arm wrestle!!!

Well it's 6-9 which is as expected given the crap weather and lack of rugby.
