Movie Battles #1 - Tony vs Ridley

In a series of polls that I am going to be putting up over the next few weeks, I thought it would be fun to pit similar things against each other. And then we argue as to who we think is better!

So first up, Tony Scott vs Ridley Scott.

Whose movies do you prefer?

Ridley for me is the more creative..............

Alien was a mould breaker.................For a horror movie where the first kill is about an hour in to be so good say's it all....

The duellists is much underrated also.

It has to be Tony for me.

True Romance shows what a great director that Tony was when given great material. It also shows what an average director Tarantino is.

I would choose to watch a Tony film over a Ridley one 9 times out of 10.

Haven't watched a huge amount of either. Ridley peaked with Thelma & Louise and Blade Runner while Tony peaked with True Romance so, on points Ridley but as a straight knockout Tony. Voted for Tony.

Alien and Blade Runner are two of the greatest movies ever made. Don't think Tony ever quite reached those heights
