Sean Kennedy back to Embra
Wee Sean Kennedy going back East to replace Rees who is going to the Dragons - bummer. Cracking wee SH but he is up against Mata, Pyrgos and Cusiter (if we ever see him again) at Glasgow. Anyway thanks Sean

Shame that, he's been very good for Glasgow - suspect he'll be second choice behind Laidlaw - defo one for the future

Really happy with this one - Sean's a tough wee player, always looking for a gap. Even if he's second choice at Embra, he'll still get a good amount of game time.
To be honest, there aren't many scrum-halves in the UK who could displace the boy Nico on his current form.

I think he was Leinster Fan, one of his parents is from that part of the world. He is also the cousin of Grant Gilchrist, the Edinburgh 2nd row.

Glad to see some joined up thinking for once within the SRU!
Laidlaw first choice, Leck a solid pro, Alex Black is crap - we desperately needed SK back.

Good mix of 9s at Edinburgh next season, laidlaw who looks far better there than at 10, chris leck- good squad player but nothing outstanding, Sean Kennedy great young player with a quick pass and good eye for a gap, sam hidalgo-clyne who looks good now he has moved to 9, played well for the u20s till he injured his knee will get better with more game time at 9 after switching from full back and then there is alex black......enough said!

Thank the lord! A decent young player in a key position coming to Edinburgh!
Kennedy in, Rees out, is going in the right direction.
Now we need to find a way of replacing Yapp with a Scots qualified player. Shiells would be my first pick, but I'd also welcome back Traynor and/or Dickinson. Hislop isn't ready to be first choice yet, but we need to stick with him. He has something about him in the loose, and scrummaging (assuming it makes a return to the game at some stage) can be worked on.
