Can A Saint Ever Become A King?
I take a look at what the future could possibly hold for "Saint" George Groves. Can he possibly rule the division in the future?

Eurolevel fighter he can rule, maybe he can win a version of the world title if he is lucky but never an elite fighter.

He will be a belt holder and whilst Ward rules the roost, that's all he can be. As for elite. He will be an elite fighter. Its just that Ward is better.

Total agree, until Ward moves up to light heavy all the rest are just fighting to be second best. I think Ward will move up sooner than later though and then Groves will have as good a chance as any.

Ward can't have more than another 3 or so fights left in the division, once he's gone/moved up GG has as good a shot as anyone at divisional supremacy.

I disagree, I think Ward will stay put.
The move up will mean less lucrative fights as Light Heavy is probably as poor as cruiser.
The guys at middleweight have to move up at some point and when they do, Wards gonna be ready and waiting.
I wonder how long it will be before he gets stripped of the WBC belt for no reason so Chavez Jr can have it?

Utter insanity...with a mega fight featuring Cleveley on the horizon? Whatever drugs you're taking...take more or less cos your current dosage has you all befuddled!

Nice article.
He is certainly developing into a top fighter interms of the way he fights but we need to see how he does against the better fighters in the division.
I think he will beat Stieglitz and from there can develop into a solid champion. I personally think he has a bright future.
