- Smackdown opened with a Dolph Ziggler promo, which was interrupted by Jack Swagger, then Alberto Del Rio, then Chris Jericho to set up a main event match against Ziggler.

(1) WWE tag champions Kane & Daniel Bryan beat Prime Time Players.

- The Shield promo.

(2) IC champion Wade Barrett beat Santino.

- Backstage segment with Randy Orton, Sheamus, and the GMs to discuss Big Show.

(3) The Bellas & Tamina Snuka beat Divas champion Kaitlyn & The Funkadactyls in a six-Divas tag match.

- Triple H promo was interrupted by 3MB, then The Shield. Shield attacked 3MB, then went after Hunter, who was saved by Hell No. Shield scattered, then it went off the air.

This was followed by a whole long segment of Daniel Bryan trying to convince Hunter for a group hug and they went forever, then Vince McMahon came out and said they were taking too long and Hunter said he needed a hug of all people. Vince faked coming to the ring, then walked out and laughed. Then, Hunter and Kane hugged and Bryan jumped on them.

- There was a backstage segment with Big Show and Smackdown GM Booker T.

(4) Randy Orton & Sheamus beat Big Show in a handicap match when Show walked out on the match.

(5) Kofi Kingston beat U.S. champion Antonio Cesaro.

Fandango came out for the main event.

(6) World Hvt. champion Dolph Ziggler beat Chris Jericho. Jericho was beat down by Big E. Langston and Fandango to close the taping.

Dark Match: John Cena & Team Hell No beat The Shield via DQ. Then, typical finishers to all, then a hugging session. They brought out Fandango to dance, then they gave him finishers.

Good start to Ziggler's reign it sounds. The way he has been booked for the last six months, they really need to push him and book him strongly initially

What was the point in 3MB coming out and interrupting HHH was just stupid.

Ziggler vs Jericho was class match as expected.

I liked that bit. They were basically trying to imitate The Shield to make a name for themselves. Shield took exception to this, took them out and then went for Triple H themselves. I thought it was all done quite well.

Does anyone else think The Shield are starting to look weak the way they keep retreating every time it becomes a fair fight lately?

Nah thats what they are all about. Like JBL said, they are tactically regrouping. They are still heels remember. They need to be singiling out people and using the numbers game. If they start running in taking on people in fair fights they will be more like faces.
