Whatever happens, this is exactly what the tournament needed. This match could really go either way but I'll say one thing; Robbo looks incredibly nervous.

On the verge of a shock are we? Robertson teetering on the brink.

Excellent frame this, if Robertson wins it will be historic.

Ding, Selby and most importantly Ricky Walden all have their fingers crossed. If Robbo goes out, Ricky will fancy his chances of reaching the semis.

Superb Milkman. Robertson got exactly what he deserved for playing a mostly average match and Milkins was better throughout, aside from the 143.

Absolutely Oh I hope Rune is back next year, I really do.
As for tonight's action, Bingers has picked up where he left off. I smell 10-1 by half past.

So they are. And Benfica and Fenerbahce. But no one else.
White takes a two frame lead but is too scruffy for my liking. He's no Selby.

Bingham through 10-2 and looking incredibly dangerous. I predict he'll steamroll Mark Davis in the next round and then give Carter a very close game in the quarters which could go either way

True, except when Mags is angry. You won't like him when he's angry (but no one likes him anyway so it doesn't matter).
That Poomjaeng moment was so much "better" than Rune David missing the board.

Graeme Dott starts today off well winning the first two frames of the day and hauls the score back to 4-6.

Murphy steadies things by taking the 11th frame and leads Dott 7-4.

I heard about the shocks. They had a man with a water bottle come on at half-time and spray the carpet

7-6 Murphy, much closer than I'd expected this morning
And let's give Selby some credit, he's dressed like James Bond today.

Um, how did Hawkins chip that cue ball? I've never seen a pro fluff a shot like that, ever!

Re: 2013 World Snooker Championship
That's what I like about Selby. He's impeccably dressed; Michael White could learn something from him.
Dotty's in again. The funny thing about The SMurphy is that when I watch him play, I don't know how he loses until his long game goes walkabout and then everything seems to crumble. He's perhaps not in Ding or Fu's class, but he's definitely streaky.
You've never seen that Azzy? I'll dig a funny video out for you when I get home.

Re: 2013 World Snooker Championship
Good session from the Juddernaut. Far and away my favourite current player in fact I'd probably place him as my 4th favourite of all time.
Would make my year were he to beat the slack jawed idiot in the semis and go on to win.
Then again I'd rather he was knocked out by someone else earlier than lose to him in the semi-final.

Re: 2013 World Snooker Championship
Said player will not make it that far I think. The Captain will have him tomorrow and if not him then Bingham. I'd really, really like to like Judd but he hits the balls too hard and for that simple, petty reason I just can't warm to him but, as with every player, it depends who they're playing.
Come on Dotty + Selby!!

Re: 2013 World Snooker Championship
Hendry used to hit the balls pretty hard in his day and was prone to occasional what he termed "wild brunges".
Not a fan of Farter after what he said about Judd last year and whilst I quite like Dr Giggles I don't reckon he's got the mental capacity to see him off once he gets on a roll.

A fabulous frame here. Dott V Murphy goes to a respotted black with almost an hour played in the frame.

Disasterous shot from Dott to set Murphy up to mop up a great frame. Intriguing and Murphy leads 11-10.

The sMurph did really well and meets Fu or Trump next. If he plays Juddley, that will be a very interesting match. I don't think there will much safety play.
