The Zebras v Leinster - Page 2 Empty The Zebras v Leinster

Post by Jenifer McLadyboy Wed Apr 17, 2013 4:21 am

First topic message reminder :

There were several injury concerns arising from Saturday night's derby victory over Munster in Limerick, with Dave Kearney set for a spell on the sidelines after being knocked unconscious midway through the second half. Kearney was released from hospital on Sunday morning and will follow the return to play guidelines for head injury.

Gordon D'Arcy suffered a mild calf strain in the opening minutes of the game but it is hoped that the Ireland centre will be available for the trip to Italy next weekend, while second row Quinn Roux (dead leg) should also be back in the frame.

Try-scorer Brian O'Driscoll suffered cramp on his comeback game, but he was fit to finish the game, while Sean O'Brien received treatment to a cut above his left eye which required stitches. Neither knock is expected to prevent either international from missing out on selection ahead of Friday's midday team announcement.

The province expect to have Fergus McFadden and Jonathan Sexton available, although this weekend's game is set to come a week too soon for back-row forward Jordi Murphy as he recovers from a broken hand.

Heinke van der Merwe (knee) continues to receive treatment, while Eoin O'Malley is doubtful but making progress after his long term knee injury.

Agreed, Sherry is going to be one for the future, he should end up with a lot of Munster caps. It will be interesting to see how he gets treated during the summer and how much gametime he gets in the USA

Doesn't look like there is 20,000 at all in the stadium for this game

20,000 tickets have been sold!!! According to Leinster rugby.

Nowhere near that amount in the stadium at the moment.

Is there anyone better than O'Driscoll at shooting out of the line and making the hit?

Another try - 2 in 15 minutes, chances of Leinster not getting 5 points look very slim.

God I hope Zebre win their last game of the season. 28 consecutive losses would be a hard 'aul season.

Wooo! Zebre level at HT.

Yes I'm cheering for Zebre. It's not that I want Leinster to lose, its just... come on! 26 losses, 0 wins. Do you not just feel sorry for them?

some very poor leinster performances from bent, mclaughlin and carr mainly.

leinster could have 5 tries or so they need a lot more patience

Nah. They aren't. How many times in that half did they put the pass five yards behind the player, knock on simple offloads, get caught with no scrum half at the ruck?

They have potential which is let down by very poor basics.
