Army v Navy 2013
The Army own the Navy yet again with an impressive 43-26 victory at Twickenham.
The Navy started off well and were 12 nil up, but the superior power and skill of the men in red won through.
72,471- the largest attendance for a non professional match ever!

Had the chance of tickets but the missus put the skids on it. Plenty from work made it, always a good day watching the Navy get smashed.

This was an outstanding event today, as usual. But having Twickenham near capacity made it even better. One of the few events I always try to get to, regardless of where I happen to be living. Whether to see old mates, support the teams, or just to see some great Rugby, this is the match to attend. And, the right result in the end doesn't hurt a bit.

No shame in the senior service losing to the south sea islanders.

Great to see the ligind that is Budgie huffing and puffing around the pitch from the opening play to the 71st minute when he was eventually subbed - popped up at standoff on occasion (closer than trotting to the next ruck) and nearly scored a couple of tries.

I saw Budgie making one good bust aye. I knew you'd be suitably impressed. It was crazy the front row that the Army put out.
Good to see the RAF are more competitive nowadays too. Should make for better tournaments from now on. I hope to make Twickenham next year, where I have already been told by a few of the guys that I will be wearing an Army top.

Ha ha! That old chestnut.
Its funny, a couple of years ago when the Army manshamed the Matelots again, one was complaining on the tube on the way back that the Army was full of Fijian ringers. I pointed out to him that it was the same team (bar two changes) that the Navy had beaten the year before. I've come to the conclusion that the Navy are very, very sore losers.
I havent seen the match yet, i'll watch it at some point soon. But I understand it was a good game of rugby.
