Since summerblues was (I think) the only person to pick Djokovic to beat Nadal at Monte Carlo, I'm intrigued by the prediction of Murray to make his first clay final. I will be very impressed if these final picks turn out to be correct.

julius also picked djoko to win monte carlo yvonnet, because he goes for the top 8 seeds in order each time!

Madrid is the fastest clay event (blue or not) so picking Murray or Federer to do well isn't as shocking as say at MC.

Plus the weather in Madrid next week is hot hot hot (mid 20s all week, full blown sun on Monday and Tuesday). I went with Tsonga over Raonic purely because of the Frenchman's superior returns (although I've probably got a better return game than Raonic).

Nadal will also prefer those conditions.

ferrer is the 4th seed sb, why poor roger? Because rafa may beat feds in the semi's? He may not defend his title?

apparently forgetting that Nadal beating Federer also goes against the seeding. I know this is clay but how low has mighty Roger fallen that socal would not even notice.

Gasquet's 1/8 was so weak, I was almost tempted to go for the TBD. I also have a feeling that Murray is going to be turfed out in his 1st Round, but in the absence of being able to pick anyone else from his part, I went for him finishing Runner-Up. I can feel Dimitrov beating Djokovic though.

I hope so too, it'd be nice to see. It's relatively quick clay, Fed traditionally has a good record here and he is the defending champion, so it's not too unreasonable...but it'd still be a bit of a shock.
