It's surprising to see so many pundits selecting Djokovic to win the tournament. Results mean things - Djokovic hasn't won a title since Monte Carlo in April. Djokovic isn't playing as well in 2013 as 2012, and he's considerably below his career-year 2011 to this stage. Djokovic himself is right to say he has no easy draw simply because Federer & Nadal drew into the bottom half. Djokovic has had 5 losses to date in 2013, and three of those men are in fact in his half: Haas, Berdych and Del Potro. In fact Haas & Berdych are in Djokovic's Quarter. This matters for one simple reason: two of the Djokovic losses at Wimbledon in his career have come at the hands of Haas and Berdych. Haas knocked out Djokovic in the 2009 QF - four sets; Berdych took out Djokovic in the SF the following year - straight sets. The 2011 Djokovic would be more than a match for either of them, even at Wimbledon. But Djokovic 2013 is a considerable way off from Djokovic 2011. He has no easy path to win here, to be sure.
