As everyone knows his stable is at its weakest and the big oversea cards are keeping BN from going under, so if things go sour Warren cant afford them to pull out
True. I remember when he decided to cross Don King. Cost him a few zeros.

Any ideas what kind of strategy it might be? Frank has history of announcing fights that never materialize.

Can't see what Chisora can bring to trouble the beast that is Wilder.
TRUSS give credit to del boy he don't duck anyone.
who cares about the reason, the guy fights every top fighter out there and always puts on a good performance.
He was expected to lose against Vitali and didn't get KO'd in the first three rounds so somehow it's a superhuman effort from DelBoy. Then he sucker punches Haye after the bell (which many consider a legitimate punch and proof that Haye is chinny cos he was wobbled by it) and he's considered to have put in a performance.
Dear Lord in Heaven
Vitali, Haye, Fury, Helenius are all top fighters in boxing right now. If he fights Wilder that will be 5 top fighters in boxing now in under 20 fights.

I take it then that Wilder v Chisora will be sanctioned by the Luxemburg Boxing Council

Durrrr, Wilder probably can't get OUT of the USA, Chisora can't get INTO the USA. Perhaps Luxemburg is an alternative

Luxembourg's only relevance is as a sanctioning body, not as a venue/destination. There'll a multiple of viable alternatives and Luxe isn't one of them. Nice try tho.....

Oh dear...
Just got a newsletter email from Boxnation and it doesn't mention Deontay Wilder once... Think Goldenboy have made their opinion quite clear to Warren!!
Seems strange you wouldn't mention the opponent in the 'headline' fight...
If Wilder is the opponent and if Chisora is as fat and useless as last time out...

Yesterday we announced a star-studded British lineup for a June 15th show LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on BoxNation from Wembley Arena. Former World title challenger and enigmatic heavyweight star Dereck Chisora returns to action as he targets a second world title shot, while an action-packed undercard sees two young champions risk their titles and unbeaten records as Frankie Gavin faces Denton Vassell with the British and Commonwealth Welterweight titles on the line in this highly anticipated domestic showdown.
Liverpudlian warriors Paul Smith and Tony Dodson clash again in a rematch of their brutal first fight with the Vacant British Super-Middleweight title up for grabs, while young unbeaten Merseyside sensation Paul Butler, the British and Commonwealth Super-Flyweight Champion, challenges for the third title in a row when he goes for the Vacant WBO International crown.

Maybe they ARE fighting in Luxemburg! Probably a long weekend break with their other halves as a means of patching up their respective relationships that goes horribly wrong
Ok ok, I'll drop the Luxemburg thing...

Think it shows how empty Warren's stable is that Chisora, Gavin and Paul Smith can be billed as star studded.
I have attended Warren shows in the past with Naz, Winky Wright and Robin Reid all on the same bill

Re: Chisora vs Wilder June 15th
I think Wilder v Chiora is a very honest match up given that Wilder needs a test, and Dereck needs to climb back up.
But..consider a moment.
Funny old world this boxing lark....
Dereck has lost to Fury nearly two years ago, then won on points against Remigijus Ziausys ( just trips off the tongue...) lost subsequently to Helenius
Here's the rub..
So...a fury loss, a points win against the well known Mr Ziausys, and a narrow loss ( which admittedly should in many eyes been a win, but a loss is a loss ) against Helenius all leads to....A WORLD TITLE FIGHT AGAINST VITALI!!..wow, so if Lennox Lewis had "lost" to Ruddock in 1992, his reward would have been a title challenge....mmmn....
Add to this the fact that Fury has beaten Dereck, but is not in contention yet ( yet Dereck fought Vitali over a year ago ) - this is by the way regardless of how good or bad you think Fury is - just making the point.
David Haye of course is nowhere near in contention to fight Vitali just yet. He needs to first lose a split decision against Charr in an epic battle, fight a Remigijus Ziausys and win, then possibly he may be a fight ( or two ) away from the Klits again.

Re: Chisora vs Wilder June 15th
The fight is off. Wilder released a press statement a couple of days ago apologizing to his British fans for not being able to travel to Britain (due to smacking up his biatch).
