A shame really as normally Haye's fights are worth watching. Plus I have wanted him to prove himself against other heavy weights. Guess we will have to wait longer

Haye Fight Off
Haye's claiming he hurt his hand.
Wonder if they sold many tickets. Lack of an undercard could have been an issue.

I reckon it was due to a lack of ticket sales.

Yes, though he fills me with false promises of fighting Klitschko's and shady contract dealings. He wouldn't even shake the magic hand.

Oh, I heard he ran like a thief or slunk out like a dog rather than stand in front of him and get punched into oblivion within three rounds like some on here seem think epitomises the essence of a "real" boxer.Champagne_Socialist wrote:AlexHuckerby wrote:ShahenshahG wrote:AlexHuckerby wrote:Haye can easily sell out the MEN...

If you look at the top photo in that Mail article, it rather gives the lie to Haye's stated height of 6'3" given that Charr's apparently 6'3" - 6'4".

Re: Haye v Charr OFF Haye injures hand.
I dont think this is a real injury. Not surprised this has happened. My guess is that ticket sales were poor. Who has heard of this guy Charr. I had to look him up to find out. And to make matters worse he lost his last fight to Vitali Klitschko. Haye beating him proves nothing. Who would want to see that fight?
Haye should fight Fury next. It would be a much better fight and generate more interest. Im not pushed about seeing Haye against Klitschko. No point going over all ground. Lets see him in against Fury.

At least it wasn't his toe. I too believe that there may be nothing wrong with him. If there isn't i hope he's learnt people aren't mugs.

What he is...........Is a unified Cruiserweight world champion and only the third bonafide Heavyweight champ you've had this Century....and a British alltime great...
Trying be proud you've got someone like that and support him........rather than the embarrassment known as Fury.

Yeah, he must be s**t then, losing to either the top guy or the guy that's second. Lord above, if Charr had lost to Audley Harrison I could understand your attitude but basically, there's the K's and everyone else. Now, they're either building up towards a title at the K's or they've already been beaten by them. What are the alternatives? Do tell.winchester wrote:I dont think this is a real injury. Erm..Haye called Fury out recently. Twice. Not a peep since. Fury's management don't want to know
My goodness - you are saying to make matters WORSE he lost to Vitali?? - and that apparently makes Charr bad and nowhere near good enough for David. You need to read your sentences - it looks as though you are saying by implication that Vitali is bad!
How does that work?? Look the HW division isn't exactly talent city, but Can't you see what David is trying to do? He fought Chisora after Vitali fought him and beat him in 5, now Charr and he'll be looking to do him impressively.
Trussman - I agree! David may be marmite in publicity and likeableness, but he has proven boxing credentials in that he has been a world champ in 2 weight divisions.

Charr is a nobody. Its a pointless fight. He should fight Fury or Price or Wilder. Nobody could care less about him fighting some guy they havent heard of that was knocked out by Klitschko. Thats probably why the show is off. Haye has had his chance against Klitschko and it was a boring fight where he lost. Not interested in watching that again. Fury against Haye would be a good fight and would have people interested. V
