The Rabo Pro12 Final - RDS - 25th May - Leinster V Ulster
First topic message reminder :
Well, there's been little chat on here for Ulster fans lately, so I decided to create a thread to try an encourage some build up!
My wifes birthday is on friday, and I long ago booked myself to do some work in Galway that day. Naughty naughty Clive! To make up for it, I booked a long weekend for the missus and the wee man to come.
Then I realise when the Rabo Final is. Long story short, I've rearranged hotels, Travelling from Galway to Dublin hotel for the weekend, and got two tickets through the supporters club!
I'll be in the North Stand, and we are going to attempt to bring little Ruan in the baby carrier! Is that mad???
Anyways, I'll put team info in here when it becomes available.
I have this weird fantasy that keeps coming to me, that Ferris will surprisingly be fit and named after having been kept top secret! There has been no timescale on his current injury since February when they stated he would probably miss the season.
Will Luke Marshall be allowed to play?
Any injury worries?
Will Leinster care more about this game than they did the Amlin final? (Honestly, barely a smile at final whistle!)

Ulster will be annoyed they've been denied a penalty try and a penalty there.

So just like their players, Munster referees are not very good. He hasn't a clue at the breakdown and both teams are suffering. Ulster more so because they are giving penalties away in kickable positions and Leinster aren't. Diack is having a very good match but needs a boot in the hole for that try. The scrum penalty try issue was 50/50- I think Williams had broken his bind so he maybe got that one right.
The referee had to be consistent on the breakdown and he isn't so far. Both teams are suffering.

Its a very tough game to ref but Lacey should just relax on the whistle a bit. If he just lets the game go things will take care of thenselves.

It was a silly call from Muller to go for the scrum. No chance an Irish ref is going to give Ulster a penalty try in the RDS. Should have kicked the 3 ...

Ulster just need to read the ref a bit more, and play accordingly. Wind is at our backs now for the second half, and if we can score early then a win is more than possible.

Right come on Ulster...Leinster can be beaten in finals and at home...ten points is quite a gap though. GULP!

Bet you and Chef are having a blast. I'm only catching bits of the game as redecorating and am in the middle of painting the girls room.
Still, I'm going Ulster by 10!

Not sure what the complaints are. Ulster are trying it on at the breakdown and lacey is having none of it..

If this is a penalty for the high tackle, has to be a penalty try as well.

Heaslip's lucky not to get binned. Took out Pienar 5m out in front of the posts, should have been 2 yellow cards there

I think Nacewa's tackle was ok but there was an offside at the ruck straight after...can't remember which Leinster player...
