He hasn't won a fight in well over a year. The man is a gate keeper now.

Re: They Can't Let Go: Good For The Profile Of The Sport
The thing is these fighters that cant let go or return after a long time, wether or not we like the idea of it, we will always watch, just out of curiosity, take Audley for example, almost all of us knew that he would get clobbered against wilder, but still we had that "maybe it jus might be his night" kind of feeling about it. With fighters losing, its always curiosity of how theyl bounce back after the defeat that gets us to watch.
You missed out Hopkins in ur list btw

B-Hop is someone who doesn't need to let go, but yeah, I guess he is old enough to call it a day. Oh, and the IBF LHW CHAMP OF THE WORD!
We love you B-Hop!

Naturally, I'd like to add 'my boy' Fat Toney to the list above.
When you're two decades (and about six stone) removed from your prime, slurring your words and are reduced to shouting stuff like "Wladimir Bitchko's momma is a fat slut!" as a means of trying to secure a world Heavyweight title fight, you know things have gone badly wrong somewhere.

Yeah, it was a very sad sight against Lebedev.

Up until the shouting stuff, I thought you were talking about me

Beasting is an informal and harsh army punishment. No wonder he had trouble in the last couple of fights if he is also being subjected to this sort of discipline.

Haye was always a glorified journeyman. A blagger.

Pacquiao won against Bradley in the eyes of many, and was knocked out clean after looking sharp and dangerous against Marquez.
Gatekeeper? Bloody hell. You've got ridiculous standards.

Re: They Can't Let Go: Good For The Profile Of The Sport
Well no, you've got stupid standards that make no sense if I'm honest. What is Pacquaio a gatekeeper to, and for who? Bradley's career has nosedived since fighting Pacquiao as the consensus was that he lost. That didn't open any gates for him. Marquez always gives Pacquiao difficult fights and is already a celebrated national hero. No gates were opened for him in beating Pacquiao other than putting to bed the idea that Pacquiao was the better boxer.
So I don't see how Pacquiao is a gatekeeper in your eyes? It makes no sense. None. Factually incorrect. Yet you're still trying as hard as possible to flesh out these pish poor topics aren't you?

He became a gatekeeper the second his sweet lips kissed the canvas.

When Ali got beat by Frazier, he became a gatekeeper too I presume?
Re: They Can't Let Go: Good For The Profile Of The Sport
In your opinion perhaps DAVIDEMORE - but as usual, your opinion is worth the total sum of a collection of used nappies and held in as high regard around here as Audley Harrisons claims to win World Titles. You're a joke mate - do one. Your type does much better on ESB.

Its not exactly "my way" is it?
You constantly swear at others, bypassing filters, drop childish insults, spam topics with self assuring drivel, make inaccurate and frankly insulting observations about other boxers, generalise subjects to make yourself look like you're being prophetic and you bang on and on and on about the same thing for weeks. You're an attention seeker of the worst kind. I know I had my moments, but every time I see you post I shudder in anticipation of the idiocy that is about to greet my eyes.
