You can of course.
Congrats on going up. Must say, I thought Brighton would knock you out but Holloway is a top manager, at level, especially.
Freedman though must take many plaudits.

Not a chance mate, I loved sending you down last time, and I hope we can do the same again next season

As much as i want Palace to go down and even be worse than Derby's season, i can't see it happening.
Holloway has proven he is a superb manager, by smashing the odds and beating Brighton and Watford to get them to the Premiership.
Palace will have money to spend and i also can see them getting Zaha on loan next season. Selhust park will be a tough place to go for sides, so im 100% not ruling them out, but in some games i have seen Palace play this season they have looked a dire side. But few new signings, and they will be fine IMO.

Think Palace have got a fighting chance. It's more difficult to get promoted to the Premier League, then to avoid relegation in my opinion.
Last season showed there are a lot of poor teams in the division, but as Nick suggested, Holloway's dealing in the transfer market will be key.

I think you'll go back down, I don't think Holloway's a good enough manager to keep you up.
You may have been good in the playoffs, but your league form since he took over has been average to below average

We have never stayed in the PL for more than one season ..!!
We have allways been relegated before..
However we have some really good owners.. We have a lot to spend, we have holloway and we have the pressure taken of us somewhat in the parachute payment system!
I said before this is the most important promotion ever!!
It will make it harder for any team to go up after this(bar the relegated ones) - because every team that comes down will have so much more money to spend!

I can't see Palace staying up honestly. Without significant investment, their squad is worse than Readings in all honesty. Expect a Blackpool type season where they have a go but just fall short on quality tbh.

Re: CRYSTAL PALACE PL TEAM. Race to 25 pts!! Going down but still proud!!
Yep its tough beccause we wont spend massive massive. 40 mill is there to be spent.. We have some quality.. No point buying anyone that isnt exeptional.
We need a striker, we need a midfield general. Those most be on the top of the list.
Speroni is class. Delani shows some brilliance but not constitant. jedanick is solid.. Murray is good, but we need another. Willams and bolasi may shine in the PL..
We cant go mad and spend 80 mill trying to stay up. We need to look at it like a 5 year plan on staying in the PL. If we go down this year no biggie. We can try and get straight back up(with the parachute payment) and keep getting stronger each time we go up untill eventually we Stick!

I think Crystal Palace can stay up, the loan system could help. Are there any players you can see working for Crystal Palace mystiroakey? Or is there any players you would like to see playing next season?

I would love to give you big names.
But I cant see us attracting better players than the likes of Darren Bent, Arouna Kone or David Bentley.
I think all 3 would boost the team..(but none that great!!)
I hope I am wrong though and we get an exeptional talent in midfield!!

Palace need serious work for me.
They're good, but not spectacular.
Improvements needed all over the park for me.

Interested in Odemwingie from the Albion. He'd be a good signing for palace, if you can stand the fact he's a complete prat.
Re: CRYSTAL PALACE PL TEAM. Race to 25 pts!! Going down but still proud!!
Murray is class he is your perfect target man and i can easily see him making the step up like we have seen with Holt and Lambert. But the problem for Palace is he is missing the first 6 months i believe.
I think a couple of strikers is very much needed for Palace. Charlie Austin could be a potential signing IMO.
They 100% need a center back. Matt Upson i hate to say it would be perfect.
They could also do with an experience center mid. Steve Sidwell wouldn't be a bad signing.

Murray's gone till Christmas.
I really just can't see how they'd stay up, same would've gone for Watford too.

Watford have a source of players from Udinese and funding that Palace don't.

Very good point GSC, Zola would have better links than Holloway as well. Can't really see Holloway bringing in players from The Italian and Spanish leagues.

Darren bent would be a great signing for any promoted club.
Say what you like about the man but he can score goals.

Does anybody see either Matt Phillips or Tom Ince going to Palace, what with there links with Holloway at Blackpool, especially Phillips?

I can 100% see Ince or Phillips heading to Palace. I said that yesterday i think. Ince could easily play for a better side, as i think he is a lot better than Zaha tbh.

I predict he will go to a bigger club., He has talent. he isnt a Zaha that is clear. But A great talent. Performed very well at under 21 level

Hes about to hit his ceiling really, whereas Zaha is nowhere near his. He might cut it as a role player in the lower parts of the PL, but I'm not sure Ince will ever be great.

Ince is a lot better than Zaha.
Stats speak for themselves and from what i have seen from both players this season Ince looks better and has a much better attitude as well, which is always good to see.

a. if he is, hes not 'a lot' better, thats just bias talking.
b. Zaha will end up the far superior player.

What so scoring more goals and getting more assists isn't as good as step overs which most of the time lead no where, or diving to win penalty's?

Only one of the two took his side to the PL with a couple of standout displays. Ince has just about reached his ceiling, Zaha is skyhigh.

Well if stats count for everything then I can make a good case for Grant Holt being in the England squad...

Zaha is with better players and has a better pitch to play on. Ince is stuck with a lot of crap players and the pitch he has to play on every week, is just as bad as some park pitches.

Lets be honest, this Palace team isn't particularly special, even with Murray

Nick mate. Zaha has a very good attitude..
I WILL BET you that he will be a first team united player by the end of next season.
you are still annoyed that he swore at your fans.. get over it.
and yes GSC every palace fan realises we are not a great team ..that argument was stupid.. if nicks argument is valid . Alongside the united players he will play better than messi..

Re: CRYSTAL PALACE PL TEAM. Race to 25 pts!! Going down but still proud!!
He swore at Leeds fans ...
But his attitude isn't very professional, i have seen him a lot this season at live games and on the telly. He never shakes hands after tackles e.g. when a player offers him a hand up. His spits all the time. He starts to yell at his team mates all the time. He always cry's to the ref if he gets fairly tackles and he dives an awful lot which explains the amount of ridiculous penalty's palace got this season.
Im not saying he is a bad player, he is clearly a talented player and i would probably class him as a future England player (that call up last time was one to forget) , i don't know if its because im a nice young chap, but i can't stand players with a foul and rude attitude.

Oh yeah it wasnt brighton.. I rememeber you have words about it though!!
That call up was only made to get him part of theEngland set up so he didn't choose his birth team.

Re: CRYSTAL PALACE PL TEAM. Race to 25 pts!! Going down but still proud!!
Interview on talk sport today with Parish.
It really sounds like first priority is to somehow get a 35,000 plus seater stadium.
He mentioned how jealous he is of the AMex. And he is right to be..
I think it would be wise to stick the money into a stadium.. Not go to mad on players..
Its all well and good getting the parachute payment to pay for your players in the champs next season. But a decent point made in the interview is that the players that work hard and deserve the money are the first to go. You can end up with the overpaid lazy lot..
Its a massive balancing act. And as long as we are better next season (in the PL of Champs I am not bothered)
I think the stadium has to be the priority. If we want to be a top 10-15 club again then we need this stadium sorted out!

Yes yes that 35,000 seater will look good in the Championship, being half full...
Utter load of rubbish. You've got a great chance to come into the Prem and establish yourselves, as there isn't a wide gap between the teams in the bottom half. Concentrate on that before anything else I'd say

I am sure a lot of Palace fans would agree with you but I dont.
Tthe owners are true intellegent fans. And I couldnt agree more with them tbh..
The stadium will be an asset at the worst anyway. Stadiums dont just hold football events- That is a good location to hold a lot of stuff!! It will also be worth more on the balance sheet- which means you will allways have the ability to borrow back of it!
