He just needs to be careful is all I'm saying. How he will react to such things matters as well. The Aussies will wind him right up if they know he's likely to lose his cool.

Phillips passing is awful. When he gets it right he's a top scrummie, when it's like this he's just an average backrower

Aye it hasn;t been great so far, but Farells 2 poor kicks were actually because he was standing too flat, not the pass.
Hogg has been in at 10 already though...

Farell also taking contact alone there, had plenty outside him and threw a locks dummy!

I'm amazed Brits lumps his team mate, with a haymaker too!!
Does this have a touch of pre determination about it, Brits knows Farell can react and noticed his chop open for the cheap shot?!
Farell reacted easily though, and since then has done nothing good!

I'm not sure why Farrell clapped after either. Yes it's a positive result for us, but he shouldn't react like that. makes him look like an arrse.
Anyway, Baas equalize. 3-3 at 16:00 (water break).

Faz did nothing wrong reacting. Stuart Barnes is an idiot saying the Aussies will wind him up now - if they punch him in the face they'll see red. Let them do it.

Can't believe Daly isn't on the Argie tour! Bluesman - fair point but at least one pass from Phillips completely died on Farrell. The rest have all been wobblers. Farrell needs to get hold of himself. His lauded composure only seems to extend to his kicking.

But so will Faz, and if a Tah's player does it 1 week before game 1? and they both get sent off???

Everyones passing has been poor though, wobblers, dyers and drops in contact all round, not much quality so far. But yes I agree with you Phillips passing has been poor.

The Rabo is freely available on digital TV and you can dl all the games from the net.
English fans do watch Rabo games as I'm pretty sure the reverse with the AP.

O'Connell has been the best player on the pitch so far. He and Grey looks like a good combination. The backrow has been very underwhelming so far. Davies has shown a couple of nice touches but Phillips and Farrell are struggling.

In his defence a lot of players might have made more of it, it was a clean chop to his chin, he wouldn't have been criticised for waving his arms/going down or going to the ref.

Farrell should not have reacted, but to be fair to the lad how many players don't react to being punched in the face? Not sure I've ever seen it, apart from the ones that get knocked to the floor.
Definitely left him discomposed though and looks even less likely to be troubling Sexton for the starting jersey.

Well once this game's over, at least the coaching team will have something to work on now. They can see what's working and what isn't.

Both looking fantastic. POC's workrate is immense. I think he's showing why he's been picked before the English locks like Parling and Launchbury.
