I was watching Heyneke Meyer on Supersport "Boot & All" last night.

Here is his take on the referees unfluencing matches"

"I would love to tell you my honest opinion, but ut will cost me the end of my career, but the fact is referees make mistakes as players do, I tell my team they must factor 9 points in per match for the possibility of it"

His take on selections.

"I pick firstly based on a player's character, the guy that hs the bility to perform under pressure, when a piece of charcoal is put under enormous pressure it becomes a diamond " - Nice old cliché, eh?

"Then I pick on class, take Bryan Habana last year, everyone said he has lost it, but by believing that Class is permanent and form temporary he proved that" - Another Cliché.

"Then you need to strike a balance between form and class"

Boks leaving

"We lost 20 Springboks since the world cup and teams are actually getting younger, so you will see another few youngsters in the squad, the idea is we need these youngsters to have 40 test matches come RWC 2015."

He did mention Pieter Stef du Toit, so that is one more youngster we now know will be there.
