Getting the Excuses in Early
Adam Jones has started it already, in his blog for the BBC he says he has been rooming with Mako V. He apparently snores like a donkey keeping AJ awake.
What other pre-match excuses do you think will come out?

I couldn't buy new rugby boots because Matt Stephens asked to borrow my credit to help with his white line fever

Vunipola loses toss and has to take the bottom bunk.............. Now has to see a sports counsellor on an urgent basis for "impending anxiety attacks" as tonight is curry night 2-4-1 special.... and Hair Bear has been winking and singing
"there's gonna be a fall-out tonight"

Re: Getting the Excuses in Early
The Wallabies excuses.
"We were simply outplayed by the better team in all 3 Tests. We didn't see that coming, unfortunately. We intend to do our homework better next time and make amends in 2025"
"We didn't think Dan would tackle everything and everyone that moved. Now we know why he was selected."
"Apparently, there was a problem with Chris Pollock's SWIFT Code in the days leading up to the Brisbane Test... and it all went downhill from there"
"We were playing really well... up by 17 points at one stage early in the 2nd half... but the 'Lions... Lions...Lions' chant really put us off our game and they really did finish with a flurry, didn't they?"
"I don't think we can blame the ref when Tipuric had his foot in touch just before he offloaded to Bowe to put the ball down for the winning score... but the play before that when Best threw the ball in at the lineout... we're going to make an official complaint to the IRU about that one. His toe was definitely over the line there!"

Re: Getting the Excuses in Early
From Gats on losing three straight
"it may have been a mistake to let Justin play out of position but I saw him kick a ball once, and I stand by playing 15)Leigh Halfpenny, 14)Alex Cuthbert, 13)Jonathan Davis, 12)Jamie Roberts, 11)George North, 10)Justin Tiupric, 9)Mike Phillips, 1)Gethin Jenkin, 2)Richard Hibberd, 3)Adam Jones, 4)Ian Evans, 5)Alun Wyn Jones, 6)Dan Lydiate, 7)Sam Warburton, 8)Toby Faletau for all three tests, it gave the team a chance to gel!"

This'll actually be the Lions excuse after Lydiate fails to understand the concept of NOT tackling English, Irish and Scottish players and makes Sexton cry in the Second Test after he is sacked by his own 6 for the 20th time.

That'd just give the chance for Dan Parks, visiting his family in Sydney, to save the day...

"I was concussed"
copy and paste that excuse for any situation... ROG etc. Jonno used it a million times.... most of the time to explain why he gave someone a slap.

We lost because most of our Lions squad was injured before the tour started,
But i know they are good lads and thought they would play on any way.

Any Welsh player can use this one:

Bore off. Didn't you say you would select Robshaw until one of your famous backtracks?
