Released/Championship/National League/Academy Bidding

First topic message reminder :

This page is for bidding for previously released, Championship, National League and academy players who are not currently in the game.  In relation to previously released players this can be any player who has been at a team in the game in any of the previous five seasons.  In the event that I cannot remember that player being in the game and being released you will need to hunt for some evidence of this for me.  The maximum that I will charge for any player in these categories is £5 million, however if a bidding war ensues you may end up paying more.

I will leave all bids a minimum of 24 hours before answering them.

Its only a game guys so I'd hope there was no skulduggery from any of us and this jumping on each other every couple of weeks needs to stop.

I had him a few years back at Exeter , I took a gamble when he was made Worcester skipper.

Mat - with Pennell at Bath do you want to keep your bid in for Rob Cook? In which case it would be ACCEPTED due to the level he has played at.

Numerous have been told this, it's nothing to do with the standard.

I paid 5m for Saull, Driver 5m for Lewis etc

Bids are £1-5million - a top international who has been released would be valued at £5million as a guide, I would not believe Rob Cook to be a top international, he has never featured for the Saxons, has only really got the Gloucester 15 shirt this season.

£5million is the maximum if there is no bidding war. If people choose to pay £5 million then that guarantees the bid will not be rejected and it is their choice on what to bid.

I am happy to accept a £1.5m bid for Cook if Mat would like the bid to remain.

People in past have been told it's 5m set price for released players.

I may be wrong though, see what Johnny says.

Haven't seen him released.

Haven't seen the £5m before - can we just say that £5m is the price you pay for someone, unless it goes into a bidding war. Would make it so much easier and it isn't as if £5m is a lot for a player.

If I had not read he was in Saxons would have thought he was Fijian.

Been raving about Roko since the days of the other prem game on this site. Definitely not played FB before, not sure where that's come from, but he's decent at 13, with some defence positioning work to do as you'd expect from a 7s bloke with limited prem rugby who normally plays wing.
