Yeah I love True Blood, not sure what to make of these wolves yet...but Jason Stackhouse is always good entertainment he plays a clueless goon so well.

Re: True Blood
I hadn't watched True Blood until the start of this season. I watched the first episode and really liked so went out and got seasons 1 and 2 and I'm now completely addicted. One of the best shows on TV and season 3 looks like it may just be the best one yet.

Yes watched it from the get-go and been avidly watching it on FX-HD. Love the sexy southern drawl and the main women  hotter than one of Arfur Daley's dodgy motors

Fantastic, one of my fave shows available and I've done my hardest to not go near a spoiler etc being that the season was on in the States last summer.

I'm up to date with this so can't say much, the first season was my favourite so far. There is some great characters in this but also some nippy ones, Sooky being one of them but i'm never going to get to see her die am i.

Re: True Blood
yep, seen the trailer last night for the new series. Really looking forward to it. One of mine (and the wife's) favourite tv series ever!
Anna Paquin (Sookie) and Stephen Moyer (Bill) are expecting their first child soon I believe so will be interesting to see what happens to True Blood in the future.

Good season opener , with a few shocks and a rather uncomfortable liason for Eric

Re: True Blood
Loving this latest series so far. I like how they show more of the Vampires actually being vampires (killing humans etc).
I think Russell Edgington is superb, so glad he was brought back in this series. He is a loose cannon as proved at the end of last episode.

The thing i dont get is why doesn't Eric just smash the container of Lilyths blood ? Then the others couldn't drink from it anymore

Re: True Blood
I assume he's afraid Edgington would then just kill him being older?
It looks like Bill has a plan and i think he now has Eric and Nora with him looking at the way they were acting last episode.
Allthough

- Edgington wanting Sookie may have stopped any plan they had

Re: True Blood
i have read the majority of the books so was looking forward to the tv series. started well keeping it close enough to the books then pretty soon went totally astray. i stuck with it for few seasons but just found it was getting worse and worse. just drifted off and some of the changes made no sense

i may give it a watch just to see how it finishes, bit like lost i suppose
its bares no resemblance to the books now though, seeing though tara is a very minor character and lafayette is killed off straight away. tv series need to be sure of ticking boxes though, especially if there are no black people in Louisiana

Ain't that the truth. My wife turns into a giggling wreck when he comes on screen. That final scene of the last episode of the series just gone when Eric is sitting naked on a deck chair was all too much for her. She still hasn't recovered.

Re: True Blood
I liked the first few series but like many American series they just fizzle out a bit after a while, it was just getting a bit silly with everyone getting powers after a while and turned into Buffy.

I agree with this, although I did feel the last series was a little bit better. A bit darker and it had a decent storyline for the most part. The middle few seasons were a bit sh*t though.
It's no Game of Thrones but it's pretty harmless fun and easy to watch.
