Does blood only make it worthwhile for you?
Can a match not entertain without the use of it?
If you want blood watch CZW.

But it's Extreme Rules, should there not be blood? if not then they should change the name to Extreme Situations

I don't think at the Armageddon PPV the world ends either.
And I certainly don't recall limbs being removed at December to Dismember.

I agree with Hero, blood isn't necessary, just becuase it is an "Extreme Rules" PPV. However that said, the WWE seems to be relaxing its stance on blood at the moment. The image of Cena's bloodied mouth from his brawl with Lesnar has been used a lot recently in the Brock Lesnar promos.
I don't think the WWE will encourage blading by any of their Superstars, but if someone takes a bump and gets opened up, then so be it.

Should the Money In The Bank PPV be renamed "Breifcase Above The Ring"

I think it'd be better if this was renamed:
'No DQ rules' because that is really the main difference.

Antlord, if you have a match that is a masterclass, where both guys have told a story in the ring and you can tell they've both given it their all, if neither have bladed does it make you a little sad inside?

Only if one of them is Ric Flair.

Re: Are we going to see blood
To be honest, I dont watch much wrestling these days but if I was to watch a PPV called Extreme Rules as an outsider I would expect Extreme matches with chair shots, big bumps, blood the lot, im all for the masterclass matches but could they not be left for a different PPV? maybe its the old ECW blood in me but there ya go

Re: Are we going to see blood
For me the less amount of blood the better, and then when it does happen it is something that instantly makes you stand up and think 'wow' such as the other week with Cena and the supposed burst lip.
I'm glad it's used increasingly sparingly as it now adds to a story when it is used.

Re: Are we going to see blood
Why would the name need changing from Extreme Rules if there is no blood? Surely whether every wrestler, or none of the wrestlers, bleed the rules are still the same?
If they should allow chair shots, should they also let every Tom, Dick and Harry use sit down piledrivers and other banned moves? After all if they aren't allowed to use every move, then it isn't Extreme!

If they are done safely and properly then yeah why not, nothing wrong with a Pildriver every now and then if done right, the same goes for a chairshot and someone getting busted open

Sorry if the question offended you Hero, no need to throw your toys out it was a simple question!!

Re: Are we going to see blood
Its not offended me in the slightest, I'm just more intrigued into why you feel PG itself cannot be entertaining and that the use of blood suddenly transforms a match into something you would watch?

I never said that, I asked if because it was extreme rules, it was likely to happen as it hasnt happened for a while!

Re: Are we going to see blood
I agree with Hero, used sparingly blood can be used to really elevate a match. I'd rather get a Wow factor from it every now and then than it become drab because we see it on every show.

Re: Are we going to see blood
Exactly I don't want to expect to see it. That's what you get with guys like Flair.
Instead I want it to be used the bare minimum, and then when it does occur it has you actually thinking is it legit because it adds value to the story.

Do you think we will ever see a First Blood match again in the WWE?

Re: Are we going to see blood
I dont think we'll see First Blood for a good few years yet.
Edit: And if they do it'll be a cop out "Internal Bleeding" ending, not a head blade job.

Re: Are we going to see blood
I think that if it is used in the right way, then blood would be good. For example with Cena vs. Lesnar, adding blood would be great because of the bust lip etc, so Cena can bust Brock open as revenge etc etc.
BUT if it was used in say, a non-title midcard match between say Kofi and Dolph, then it'd be pointless unless something before their big match had set up the need for it.
So, I think it would depend on matches and it's participants for me.

If Cena stabbed Brock in the neck with a knife he wouldnt bleed because he's so hard.
And because he doesnt have a neck.

Next week on RAW Cena cuts up a 17 year old kid under the gimmick 'Many vehicles' then follows it up with an attempt to throw his long bitter rival off scaffolding onto a concrete floor.

the last occasion of blading was HHH against Taker wasn't it. I doubt less influential talents will be permitted to do it

You mean HIAC at Mania? HHH's eyebrow was legit busted open, that wasnt a blade job.

Re: Are we going to see blood
Do you not agree Antlord though that because blood is so rarely a feature nowadays that when it occurs it now adds a lot more to a story?
