Re: POLL; Bowes Replacement
Wade for me but if Gats has the call it would most likely be the big man Visser.

Re: POLL; Bowes Replacement
I don't think we need a wing, the Lions need a 10/15 player such as Flood/Hook, they may not be used for the test matches but there are still lots of games to go.

Zebo for me
Wouldn't mind Trimble
Wade would be an exciting risk
Visser and Ashton would terrify me trying to defend against Aus wingers on hard grounds.
Brown is a FB and we don't need a FB
McFadden, Robinson and Lamont are nowhere near this level.

If a winger - Wade.
If 10/15 cover - Madigan

Zebo' got to be the man for me. Wade has too little experience - but hopefully he'll be good.

Flood at full back
If a 10/15 then Hook is the best option, but would probably prefer to see a wing/fb so probably Zebo for me.

As long as it's not Ashton i'm sure it will be a descent cover.
Also Mike brown is a full back not wing.

Re: POLL; Bowes Replacement
I'd go with Wade or Zebo, both are exciting players who should excel on hard grounds. Either way Bowe is going to be a big loss.
I expect that FH cover will be called up if Kearney is still struggling for next week.

Re: POLL; Bowes Replacement
Would have liked to have seen Wade in a mid week game but I dont think his defence is good enough for the tests.
I'd have Trimble in there. Hes had one of the best seasons for his club of any of the wingers.

Mike Brown played wing in the Six Nations- I only included him because of the situation with Rob Keanrey as he covers wing and fullback.

Re: POLL; Bowes Replacement
I think Zebo is likely to be picked. Visser wouldn't be a bad choice, but his defence is dodgy I understand.

If a wing- Zevo/Wade
Otherwise Madigan/Flood - Hook looked awful for the Barbarians, utterly awful.

you mean Zebo and all his five caps? I'm not against inexperienced players going, but let's not split hairs over such a small amount of caps

It's a legitimate point but Zebo took to test rugby very quickly in a dire Irish backline against South Africa and then followed that up with performances against Argentina and Wales.
He has had an excellent season in the HC and whilst Wade could potentially be an inspired choice, it is a difficult one when he hasn't yet been given a chance to prove himself on the European stage, which is arguably of a higher quality than some of the rubbish in the 6N this year.

If the plan is to kick high diagonal balls for tall quick men to chase, why not Tom Croft?

Zebo would also gel quicker with Sexton and BOD, compared to Wade.

Zebo it is! Not my first choice but quite happy.
