Lions - the Aussie whinge list
Below is the Aussie attempt at humour about the Lions - on the local equivalent of Planet Rugby. Hope the Aussie XV team is abit better!

Second-rate sides, second-rate banter.

Their banter is mince. The saggy yellow wife beaters are normally have a better sense of humour than this don't they?

I was looking down through the comments - saw this definition of the Lions tour
'The English and three neighbours who hate the English touring the world periodically to play other nations that hate the English..'

Re: Lions - the Aussie whinge list
The Daily Mail came up with some counters. Though several sound rather whinge-y

Pete, tut tut. The Daily Mail. I though better of you......
As for the banter. This is poor. And the Aussies are usually so much better. Or at the very least they resort to arrogance which I haven't really seen/heard thus far.
This either means:
A) for the first time ever at a game of anything the Aussies do NOT think they are better/going to win.
Or
B) Cyril is correct and they are up to something.
I have a feeling it is the latter. They're canny farkers when they want to be. I'm worried all of a sudden. Which is perhaps what they wanted all along, that we get all introspective in the stands/in front of our TVs about what the Aussies 'are up to' instead of baying for blood and engaging in antipodean racism and questions of parentage and such the like.
Also, Lostinwales, good description. Heard a quote overheard by a journo upon the full time whistle in the thrid test in 2001.
English Accent: "Poopie. We lost....... Ah well, at least we can go back to hating the Welsh again."
Four into one and all that. Hmm, that sounds like the title of an adult film.....
Lions! Lions! Lions!!!

I know
I stole it off a rugby Facebook group admittedly. But I did feel dirty opening the link.

Ah well, so long as you know why you feel bad, you're ok.

Re: Lions - the Aussie whinge list
Lions developed a bit of a complainers / bad losers tag in 09 in SA..... Couldn't even enjoy a bit of eye tickling!

Irish veteran Brian O'Driscoll has been rested but improved his selection chances in the centres with a starring display in Tuesday night's rout of Combined Country
