Should've been Schteve.
Coyle is alright I guess, nothing special. Not going to fix that defense.

A decent appointment, always felt like Coyle was a good manager, but he obviously had a pretty poor time at Bolton.
The thing is, despite just being relegated, I don't feel like Wigan are a team that will go straight back up or even be in the upper echelons of the Championship. I can't see them holding onto their best assets, they couldn't do that when in the Premier League, so Coyle might actually be jumping onto a sinking ship.

Eh, they have a settled side for the most part. And exist on a better financial platform than most due to parachute payments and FFP.

I think they're such a small club though that I can't see them bouncing straight back up. I can see a mass exodus as well, the likes of Maloney, Kone, McManaman,McCarthy, Alcarez could all very well leave, and even players such as McArthur, Beausejour could leave.

They'll also get funding to replace them however.

Hmm this is a hard one to call. Owen did a superb job with Burnley and got them promoted, before turning his back on them and joining there local rivals Bolton. Which at the time was seen as a better move long term. Sadly he took Bolton down and was rightfully sacked when results were poor in the Championship.
He is a local lad, so it is someone who the fans can like. Not sure he will keep the same style of football up, but all in all i think its a decent appointment. Not sure they will go up, as the Championship just looks too tough to call next season.
