Bit of fun! What TV character/s (past or present) would make great wrestlers?
My picks:
Richie and Eddie from Bottom.
I'd throw these two in with any tag team ever assembled and expect nothing but a 5 star match. A TLC bout for this duo would be negotiated like a walk in the park. They'd probably turn on each other a dozen times during the course of one match but my god would they boost PPV sales. How can you beat what you can't hurt?!
Trevor Morgan from EastEnders.
A heel so bad that even an 80 year old grandma would put her hip out to stick a knitting needle into. This guy would create more heat than a Morphy Richards iron, which ironically is what it took to beat Trev. Famous for his long running feud with Little Mo. His "do you want gravy with that Mo?" promo is the stuff of legend. Mo was never the same after. (Please note that wife beating aint no joke)
Zak Dingle from Emmerdale.
In his day a force to be reckoned with. Famous for having a barney with Ned and settling the score in a barnstorming bout in a barn Zak proved he could hang with the best of em. Mellowed somewhat in his later years but still a tough cookie. Rewind 15 years, put him in a ring with Mick Foley and you have a right belter. Sam Dingle could go all Jameson and manage him too!
Jez Quigley from Coronation Street.
A proper badass. Told Steve McDonald to lie back and think of England before watching his stable make Steve lie back and think of hospital food. It took a cowardly Jim McDonald attack in his own living room to put him out of action. A one on one encounter in the squared circle with Jim and things would have been different!
Over to you.
Cheers guys.

Following on from Bull's suggestion - Gus Fring from Breaking Bad would be an amazing tweener, who turns uber heel.
Not strictly a TV character, but I've always thought Jose Mourinho would cut some amazing promos. Luis suarez would be great at getting heel heat as well.

You could have a Mitchell stable. Grant and Phil as the "Brothers of Destruction"/ main eventers.

Can't believe people are talking about Breaking Bad and no one has mentioned Mike Ehrmantraut, without a shadow of a doubt the most badass man on television

April Ludgate is a diva tweener waiting to happen.
Dirty Den was a great heel. Arnold Rimmer would be an amazing weasel heel who eventually won the big one and turned face.

Staying on Parks and Rec's, Andy Dwyer's alter ego, Burt Macklin would be decent.
Also think Gene Hunt from Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes would make a brilliant no-nonsense face.

I would have David Platt as a weasel heel, he could have a title reign like the honky tonk man, everyone would attend or watch just to see if he beaten to a pulp.
Nick cotton would be a good one for a heel, good psychology, dark promos. Lets face it this guy would do anything to get his own way even steal from his own mother....and has done

Corrie has been a great breeding ground for heels over the years.
Who can forget Terry Duckworth? Morally corrupt and as cold as ice. Could easily bypass developmental and grace the full roster.
Richard Hillman. Devious managerial material right there.
