Quad competitions for all?
From the outset I will say this is probably unrealistic for financial reasons but...
I'm personally getting a little board of playing the same teams each year. Would it be feasible to have several of these quad competitions during the Autumn? If we have it as 2 European sides and 2 rest of the world sides it might work.
So, for example, this Autumn if we used the IRB rankings we could have seeds of
Rotw1 : New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Samoa
Rotw2 : Argentina, Tonga, Canada, Fiji
NH1 : England, Wales, France, Ireland
NH2 : Italy, Scotland, Georgia, Romania
Now as I said it's unrealistic for financial reasons because can you imagine any 6 nation union agree to AI against Samoa, Fiji and Romania? I can't.
Or sod it, playing the same teams over and over is fine.

It's fine!
I like the 6 Nations, we get to see the Tri nations every season. While our boys get a 3 week tour out in a Tri NAtions country, while we all play a Tier 2 nations as well.
Wales needs to generate money, so we need to fill the stadium and play the big teams.
