What would be your Perfect Opening Day?
The fixture list is out on Wednesday, What would be your Perfect Opening Day?
Easy One would be (Based on Location)
Man Utd v Man City
Liverpool v Everton
Spurs v Arsenal
Cardiff v Swansea
Sunderland v Newcastle
Chelsea v Fulham
Aston Villa v West Brom
Norwich v Hull
West Ham v Palace
Which leaves:
Southampton v Stoke (Battle of the Red and White Stripes Ha!)
But i've gone for.........
Everton v Man Utd -
Moyes return to Everton on the opening would be Epic!
Liverpool v Arsenal -
Always a great game when these two meet!
Cardiff v Swansea -
Battle of Wales, Writes itself
West Ham v Sunderland -
Return of a legend in Di Canio to Upton Park
Chelsea v Palace -
Just think the build up would be very entertaining with Jose and Holloway
Man City v Spurs -
Think it would be a excellient test for both teams to see how far they'd come over the summer!
Hull v Newcastle -
First game back in Premier League for Steve Bruce against the team he supports!
Stoke v West Brom -
This would good test for both sides - for Hughes as it'll his first game against the team that finishes 8th and For West Brom to see if they can battle without Lukaku!
Norwich v Aston Villa -
Return of Lambert, think the Norwich are still feeling a bit sore about for leaving!
Which leaves:
Fulham v Southampton
Erm....... Steve Davis used to play for Fulham
I'm sure as the summer progressed my choices will changes! What would yours be?

So long as we don't lose 5-0 again I'll be happy!!

Re: What would be your Perfect Opening Day?
Everton v Manchester United
Agree on this, think it'd be excellent.
Manchester City v Chelsea
A match that could potentially decide the title, two new managers, hopefully a wealth of new signings...yes please.
Cardiff v Swansea
First ever game in the top flight between two non-English sides.
Sunderland v Newcastle
Love a good derby, and will be interesting to see if Di Canio can recreate the 3-0 win.
Liverpool v Norwich
Prove Liverpool can still thrash Norwich without Luis Suarez.
Tottenham v Arsenal
North London derby, usually high scoring, could set the tone for the season.
Fulham v Crystal Palace
Another London derby.
Hull v Southampton
Hull against the team whose opening season they'd like to recreate.
Stoke v West Ham
Can Hughes prove that he is able to adapt the way Stoke play against the team who perhaps have got the balance right between hoofball and good football?
West Brom v Aston Villa
Another derby is what is left.
