First topic message reminder :

So. Dilemma for me.

Djokovic is unveiling his Wimbledon outfit and doing a meet and greet a short hop from where I work tomorrow.

I'm tempted to go along but can't shake the feeling that this is behaving like a teenage girl who's heard that Justin Bieber is in town.

So what do you think? Interesting experience or just a bit lame?

Do you happen to have any "healthy interests" that might be construed as weird then, BB?

The one thing that tempts me is that, even if it is an autograph queue, I can maybe ask one decent question.

I could finally settle the argument about whether The Shot was a fluke!

Print off a picture of The Shot and ask him to sign that - then ask how lucky it was.
If you really want to strike up a conversation, talk about poodles.

That's not a bad suggestion on the picture!

Sadly my well of poodle-related conversation is not a deep one.

Ask him if he seriously believed the ball was dead at RG before it bounced twice, or that he felt such a massive plum that he argued to make it look like it was a contentious rules issue.

BB - I'd be very tempted to raise that issue but I'm concerned that the thought of it would make me cry, thus making me look even more like a fanboy stalker.

TSJ - Love it!

Sign the shot and ask him how lucky it was, not bad.

The book was the inspiration behind and provided some lyrics for my favourite Police song...'Tea in the Sahara'...set here nicely with clips from The English Patient which evokes similar imagery to that portrayed in the book.

I have Last Emperor, Sheltering Sky (Malkovich, Winger), Dreamers () on DVD, as well as The English Patient. I also have most of the Police albums, till they split and a couple of Sting albums.

The Cinematography is stunning, apart from the plots and story lines of the movies.

No. I was very tempted by JHM's "picture of The Shot" idea but it's really muggy in London today and I couldn't be bothered to hang around in it after work!

Ha! Indeed. Although I did rather like his kit from this year's RG.
