GOING: GOOD TO FIRM (GoingStick: Stands' side 9.8, Centre 10.1, Far side 10.1, Round 9.3). (White cloud)

STALLS: Straight course - Centre; Round course - Inside

2.30 ALBANY STAKES (GROUP 3) (FILLIES) (CLASS 1) (2yo) Winner £39,697 20 runners 6f Good To Firm CH4
After getting off the mark on Thursday, Lady Cecil runs Joyeuse in the opening race on Friday. The Khalid Abdullah owned filly is a half-sister to the fantastic Frankel and would be a popular winner with the racegoers. Tom Queally rides. SANDIVA probably has the best form in the race following her Listed Stakes win in Ireland at Naas last time out. Wonderfully is a nicely bred filly for Aidan O'Brien but may do better over further.

3.05 KING EDWARD VII STAKES (GROUP 2) (COLTS & GELDINGS) (CLASS 1) (3yo) Winner £99,243 8 runners 1m4f Good To Firm CH4
BATTLE OF MARENGO comes here looking for compensation after his Derby fourth. He gallops well and if he gets in front he will be hard to beat. Mutashaded is unbeaten in two starts and won well at Sandown last time out. He is a relatively unknown quantity here and could offer the best alternative to the favourite. Fantastic Moon could run well at a good price for Jeremy Noseda and Keiren Fallon.

3.45 CORONATION STAKES (BRITISH CHAMPIONS SERIES) (GROUP 1) (FILLIES) (CLASS 1) (3yo) Winner £216,349 17 runners 1m Good To Firm CH4
Sky Lantern and Just The Judge, first and second in the 1000 Guineas, are set for a rematch here. Sky Lantern swooped late in Newmarket to land a first classic for Richard Hughes while Just The Judge improved on her second there to land the Irish 1000 Guineas at the end of last month. These two weren't that clear of the rest at Newmarket and could be susceptible to one of the unexposed types like Pavlosk, VIZTORIA or Purr Along. Viztoria has shown good form in Ireland and won cosily last time under hands and heels. Johnny Murtagh rides and could add the Coronation Stakes to his King's Stand Stakes win earlier in the week.

4.25 WOLFERTON HANDICAP (LISTED RACE) (CLASS 1) (4yo+ 0-110) Winner £34,026 16 runners 1m2f Good To Firm CH4
Albasharah is the likely favourite here for Godolphin and probably offers the stable is best chance of a win this week. The horse has won three races and is still unbeaten. The colt hosed home by eight lengths and his reappearance and will be tough to beat here. Sheikhzayedroad hasn't done much wrong this year and won very well at Epsom last time out. REWARDED was only beaten just under four lengths in the Huxley Stakes at Chester in early May and won well last time out. The James Toller-trained horse could be a decent each way shout.

5.00 QUEEN´S VASE (IN MEMORY OF SIR HENRY CECIL) (GROUP 3) (CLASS 1) (3yo) Winner £42,533 18 runners 2m Good To Firm CH4
This race is run in the memory of Sir Henry Cecil and Disclaimer runs from Warren Place for connections Lady Cecil, Tom Queally and Khalid Abdullah. Leading Light is 2-2 this season for Aidan O'Brien and should get better for the extra furlongs here. Mark Johnston always does well in these type of races and runs Royal Skies, withdrawn from 1m4f race on Thursday), Mister Impatience and FEDERAL BLUE for whom Johnny Murtagh is onboard. Nichols Canyon runs for the John Gosden stable and he has done well with 3YO staying types in recent years. This horse beat Thursday winner Elidor back in October and has to be respected on that form.

5.35 BUCKINGHAM PALACE STAKES (HANDICAP) (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-105) Winner £46,688 29 runners 7f Good To Firm CH4
Enrol goes in the last for Sir Michael Stoute and will be the likely favourite after some decent runs this term. The colt is unexposed and will appreciate the step back up to 7f. REDVERS has course and distance form and was impressive last time out on firm ground. Bertiewhittle finished ahead of Redvers in the Victoria Cup at Ascot and could run a good race. Camponology trained and ridden by Johnny Murtagh will be helped by the drop back to 7f and could be challenging at the line.
