Don Armand to Exeter Chiefs
Stormers flanker Don Armand has just tweeted that he is coming to 'Dere'ol'Debn' and will be joining the Exeter Chiefs.
Can any of our South African brethren (Bilt and Fa i'm talking to you!) fill us in on whether this is a decent signing?

Re: Don Armand to Exeter Chiefs
Bear in mind that I suspect this signing is more about adding depth to the backrow resources following Richie Baxter's retirement, than recruiting a front line starter
On a more disappointing note, I hear that James Hanks has bust his shoulder again in pre-season training and is unlikely to be ready for the start of the season - I'm expecting a lock signing to be announced on the back of that news, such a shame that we weren't able to keep hold of Aly Muldowney

Armand's wikilies page says he covers lock as well so it could be a timely signing...

Altho it does say that, at 6'3", not sure about how true it is, CD, am hoping Robbie B has another ace up his sleeve

Only Edinburgh would sign a 6ft 3 lock - sounds like a flanker to me.
Great name.

Yep, sounds a bit like a porn star, or a character from AnchorMan

Sounds like the head of a mafia family to me (though I guess Armand is more a french name)
