Deontay Wilder's Next Fight...
First topic message reminder :
...According to both Fightnews.com & BoxRec will be Siarhei "White Wolf" Liakhovich.
Is he a step up after Audley? Possibly. But the former WBO belt holder is more of a name than a challenge now. He hasn't fought for nearly 18 months and is coming off to successive losses - to Robert Helenius & Wilder's fellow unbeaten American Bryant Jennings.
I don't see this going much further than Audley's fight, although it would be nice to see Liakhovich give him a bit of a fight. Sadly I just don't see it happening.
Step up man!

I presumed it was the same fight from 1:15 until the knockout, however the ref who gives a count for the first knock down is clearly a different ref from the one where Wilder's knocked out into the ropes.

I'm not impressed with wilder's next opponent, the guy he is facing has lost 4 out of his last 6 fights. it just doesn't excite me at all.

Baby steps with Wilder, he didn't have much of an amateur career , far better than sticking him in with guys he isn't ready for and ruining him.

Agree with Alex. Fight often and move up in opposition. 5 or 6 more fights and he is ready for a decent challenge of an experienced pro.
Also, saying it is my opinion is fine, but then offering it as proof is a whole new level of idiocy. This is a method used by Daily Mail readers to prove any right wing argument they are putting forward at that moment. e.g. ignore the fact that Wlad's last three opponents have been taller than 6'4" and two taller than him. He fought Haye and so only picks fighters he can impose himself on in the ring.

Wilder was looking to face Fury after he destroyed Audley Harison. Unlike the Klitschkos he calles out the winners of matches instead of the losers. Fury and Haye have both beaten Chisora so I would would like to see Wilder face the winner of that.
Well, seeing as Chisora has just be installed as Pulev's mandatory he's 1 fight away from being one of the top guys in the division (sadly) as a K mandatory next most likely.

Only one has been taller than him (Wach) and the previous 6 to those three were 5'11"-6'2", so it's not a totally fallacious point.
