You should call your team "The Handbags and the Gladbach".

How much cash do you presently have?
I'd be willing to do something with Alderweireld but I'd probably want a little cash as well so I can try and replace him.

Re: Glad t'be bach
I know, but judging by your side and mine, your need for a CB is higher than mine for a striker, no matter how related he may be to my captain.

Re: Glad t'be bach
Your having a laugh with £3m
He did get a hat trick and looks decent enough, but he's still only potential.
I thought he might go up to £1.5m to £2m and I could make a small profit. £3m kind of rules that out completely

What amount of cash would it take, or would you do a money + player deal?

Deal. But you accepted a £2.5m lawyers for Mlapa last week.
Therefore, it would be £6.1m for Thauvin straight up. If you're happy please confirm.

Ouch. That's a lot of moneys which I don't have.
How about £3.5m now, with £2.5m to come in the next week?

Re: Glad t'be bach
All cash must be given upfront, you're right. You could accept the Max Kruse lawyer?
Failing that, I'll make a gentleman's agreement to sell Thauvin to you next week for £6m unless someone comes in with a higher straight cash offer.

No ta. He is nowhere worth that and I have brought in Aubameyang now, so got more than my wanted compliment of strikers

Re: Glad t'be bach
Apart from that most people are available as always but it depends upon the offer. I've used up my quota of foreigns for the week though which makes it hard to find replacements for areas Id then be low on.

I can't really see anything I'd take, he's a big part of my team and there isn't a like for like trade here.

I'm fine then. When Herrera moves for £30m his TM value will soar accordingly, so it is worth me keeping him that alone

Re: Glad t'be bach
You reckon
The fact that someone was going to pay 30m means it'll still go up well above its current level.
Quite happy to sit tight on him still

Re: Glad t'be bach
Herrera won't go up much Afro, you and I both know that. Plus he has bad hair so he can't realistically be worth much.

Re: Glad t'be bach
I think it will. They usually react when prices are pretty much confirmed, so why Herrera should be different I don't understand. I'm not saying £30m but £12-15m is realistic.

Re: Glad t'be bach
Capoue will be at £9m as that is what Spurs are supposed to have paid.
If Herrera is 15m that will make his lawyer somewhere around £16-17m. That is the price I will consider offers at.

Had a change of heart on Thauvin, given all the interest and the Marseille move.
I would be interested in Villa.

As Villa is injured this week, I'd be looking for a little more tbh.
Aubameyang, Herrera and £6m for Xavi and Villa

Re: Glad t'be bach
Except Aduritz is injured as well so I'd be down to just the Drog.
Let me think about it as I really like Aubameyang and think his pace will be a real weapon with Susaeta alongside Drogba in a three

Schneiderlin could go for cash, but I'd want circa £9m in order to fund replacements.

What about Benteke + Nocerino? It's not silly, but fairly balanced I'd say.
