who will win the 4 leagues?
With less than a week to go till the championship, leagues 1&2 start.
Prem 2 weeks later, I was wondering who people think will win their respective leagues.
Its a tricky thing imo.
PREM Torn between Man City & Chelsea. Going with City.
CHAMPIONSHIP, to me this is the toughest league to predict. qpr, reading leicester, bolton, watford will provbably be up there again. I'm thinking Forest as the surprise team(may change my mind before next weekend).
LEAGUE 1 Going with Wolves to bounce straight back up. Think Jacket is a decent manager. They'll be keen to return quickly.
LEAGUE 2 Fancy Pompy to win that league.
So what do others think.

Call me brave, foolish or just plain stupid:
PL Winners - Man Utd
La Liga - Real Madrid
Bundesliga - Bayern (Dortmund to win at least 1 of the derbies but be unable to match them over the season)
Serie A - Juventus at a canter

Re: who will win the 4 leagues?
I fancy Wolves to win League 1, think they have a cracker in Leigh Griffiths and I feel he'll be good for 25-30 goals next season, he'll be the difference, dropping to the 3rd tier is never a good thing but it can be the metaphorical boot up the arse a club needs to change their whole infrastructure Norwich and Southampton being the two recent examples.

Re: who will win the 4 leagues?
I think Napoli is a very good shout for the Scudetto this season, the attacking options of Hamsik, Mertens, Insigne, Callejon and Higuain certainly on paper make them contenders. Rafa did some business to give him credit.
As an outside bet though I'd stick a couple of quid on Fiorentina, Rossi is hopefully finally recovering from his horrendous injuries and has 4 goals in 3 friendlies and the addition of Gomez who despite what people think has shown when he's on form he can outscore virtually anyone.

I think you'd be nuts to go against Juventus though. They have been dominant domestically and they're stronger this year too.
I hope Napoli win it. I think they've got some great players and it'd be nice to see a club from outside the traditional powers break through and win it.

Re: who will win the 4 leagues?
I'm suprised so many have gone with Wigan for the championship. As Birmingham showed, when you are in Europe it is a huge strain on your squad in the championship. I'd imagine a tricky first season for them.

Brum finished 4th didn't they? And they had no money either
Wigan will be just fine especially if they keep McCarthy/McManaman/McArthur. Probably won't even get that far in Europe

Birmingham do have money mate, well in that season they certainly did, Zigic on 65 grand says it all really.

Re: who will win the 4 leagues?
Im glad that nobody has gone for Bury, Olly did and then changed his mind, we have put together a decent squad who I think can challenge.
The issue we may have is the squad gelling together with so many new faces

They had it when they were in the Prem. Then they got unexpectedly relegated, and the Carson Yeung guy has got them into all sorts of trouble. They've tried to move Zigic, but (unsurprisingly) nobody will take him. They're in pretty deep financial trouble. Just look at what they had to accept for Butland and Redmond. Not more than 6-7m for two England U21 players combined.

Does Chris Burke still play for them? He was close to joining Forest i think, but he was one of many players they missed out on, due to there idiotic owners.

A little way in to the season and all of my picks are in the mix. However I think now for one that Reading will probably come up short. QPR look a lot better than I thought they would do. I imagined they would still have a lot of internal struggles to sort out but they seem strong. Anyone else like to revise any of their selections? Got 3 out of 4 of the European leagues, but they were very easy.
Only 1 out of 4 in England, only one even close was Chelsea of the remaining 3.

No correct ones. Fleetwood and Peterborough could still go up though and Chelsea weren't a million miles off. Not great but not terrible.
