Scariest Kids' Film
From Snow White to Coraline, children's films can have moments of threat and menace; but which film for children do you consider to be the scariest of all?

My kids are scared of 'Tangled' as Repunzel gets taken by the horrible witch. I said that won't happen to you................the mother in law won't get in our house

Never saw it as a kid but I'd imagine The Witches must be a bit intense for little people.

The Kid Snatcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is actually pretty scary and dark.

Babe - Pig in the City. A dark gothic tale with some of the creepiest acting by an orangutan since the one who played Dr Zaius in 1968.

Gene Wilder's version of Willy Wonka always gave me the creeps.

Location : Your knuckles whiten on the wheel. The last thing that Julius will feel, your final flight can't be delayed. No earth just sky it's so serene, your pink fat lips let go a scream. You fry and melt, I love the scene.

Watership Down. Not so much scary as downright.......... far out man in mood. A strange, unsettling surreal mood that held all through.

I love that film.
The bit near the end where the old, battered rabbit sacrifices himself to buy some time for his little rabbit buddies gets me every time.

Bambi...imaging it was told from the point of view of humans.
Young child abandoned by his father, brought up by him mother with a strange group of friends to say the least. His mum is then killed and he has to go live with his father and his home is burnt to the ground.
Lovely!

Yep, I agree. There is the bit when the little tiny rabbit starts tripping out and has visions of their warren being destroyed and the final scene is just terrifying. The big, nasty baddie rabbit goes mental and runs towards the snarling teeth of a few rather large dogs, almost certainly to his death.
Even though he was a nasty piece of work, I was traumatised as a kid to think of him being mauled to death by a pack of savage hunting dogs.

Completely agree with Tino regarding the original Willie Wonka. Horrific.
The scariest film i've ever seen is Alice In Wonderland. I absolutely can't stand it.
