You have to pick a 23-man squad that would compete in the English Premier League.
To select your squad, I will allow you to pick one player from each Premier League team, plus 3 players from another English league (any of the Championship, League One or League Two).
To clarify, you may select just one player from each team for your squad.

Re: Team Fergie
Thanks cherries, good work. There's a bit I'm going to add to it as I think it needs to explain more to do with the general playing style, but I can deal with that.
Nando, did I PM you my player explanations for the first half of the players? Don't seem to have it.

Re: Team Fergie
- Explainations:
- THE SQUAD
We have looked to get a lot of quality in attack, bringing in the likes of Robin van Persie, Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez who both have the quality to win us games. We worked hard to get an excellent starting XI and following that attempted to get the best strength in depth, thinking about versatility and players which provide us with different types of options. Getting the likes of Maynor Figueroa and Branislav Ivanovic who can play in multiple positions helps cover our defense, with Kompany our leader at the back which we felt was critical to have. As well as the quality players, we also have some fantastic young British talent who can develop such as Grant Hanley, James McCarthy and Nathaniel Clyne.
GK - Julio Cesar (QPR)
The Brazilian number one goalkeeper who is regarded as world class despite playing in the Championship.
GK - Julian Speroni (Crystal Palace)
Experienced goalkeeper who is one of the stars at Crystal Palace, being their first choice keeper for the past six seasons.
RB - Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
Also able to play at centre back, but the defender is our first choice right back. Despite all of Chelsea's defensive rotation, Ivanovic always is a first teamer.
RB - Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton)
The young right back will be a first teamer for England in the future and is an up and coming player who can get forward and is full of energy.
CB - Vincent Kompany (Manchester City)
Our captain, our leader at the back. He can organise and defense and will put himself on the line. Leads Manchester City by example and can do the same for us.
CB - Ryan Shawcross (Stoke City)
A fantastic physical centre back who will win everything aerially and will not be bullied by anyone, would be a great player to have man-marking the striker.
CB - Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers)
The 21 year old Scottish centre back is a big up and coming talent. He is appearing for the Scottish national team and is starting to gain more recognition in his young career.
CB - Steven Caulker (Cardiff City)
The athletic centre back has it all, composed on the ball and is physically a big guy. He will provide genuine competition despite his young age to be partnering Kompany.
LB - Maynor Figueroa (Hull City)
The versatile defender was one of Wigan's best players. Would be good to have in a covering role, where we can use his abilities at both left back and centre back.
LB - Leighton Baines (Everton)
The left back is clearly the best in his position in the league.
CM - Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle)
He has stood out for Newcastle since joining, they missed him desperately last season and his creativity is a great asset to our midfield.

CM - Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle)
He has stood out for Newcastle since joining, they missed him desperately last season and his creativity is a great asset to our midfield.
CM - Youssouf Mulumbu (West Bromwich Albion) - Mulumbu is defensively solid and brings a physical presence to the centre of the park that all sides need, He was one of the bright points of WBA's last season along with Lukaku
CM - Jack Wilshere (Arsenal) - Regarded as a future England captain, There is not much he cannot do, He can control the play and put a tackle in and rises to the occasion when needed.
CM - Mohamed Diame (West Ham United) - He is an absolute tank, Once he starts running with the ball there is no stopping Diame, He's physical presence scares sides and will look to dominate our midfield
CM - James McCarthy (Wigan Athletic) - He was the bright point of Wigan's relegation campaign due to his immense talent, he has the vision to unlock defenses whilst also being defensively responsible
WG - Adam Johnson (Sunderland) - On his day he is unstoppable, he twists defenders inside and out and is able to provide pinpoint crossing chances.
WG - Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur) - one of the best in the league would be criminal to leave him out, left foot right foot can do it all, he take leave defenders trailing in an instant with his electric pace
WG - Bryan Ruiz (Fulham FC) - He's a different proposition to our other wingers not blessed with pace but able to dribble past players and unlock defenses.
WG - Robert Snodgrass (Norwich) - This guys left foot is absolute quality, he's delivery is second to none and always causes a consistent threat down his wing even when doubled up against
ST - Michu (Swansea) - For 2 million i don't think anyone was prepared for what Michu brought to the PL, He fired Swansea to safety and a Carling Cup victory, without his goals Swansea would of been struggling, He's movement is sublime and coolness in front of goal is ridiculous
ST - Luis Suarez (Liverpool FC) - One of the best forwards in the league, time and time again got Liverpool out of trouble, Whilst he's attitude may be a problem everyone who was a genius with a football was always eccentric. He's skill and ability to get out of tight spaces is what he brings to the side along with his goal scoring
ST - Robin Van Persie (Manchester United) - The best forward in the league by far, The touch is sublime and the goals he has scored for United have been top class including several volleys on the run, He's technique is up there with the best in the world's and has fired United to a title so you can't leave him out it would be like leaving Ronaldo/Messi out their teams.
ST - Christian Benteke (Aston Villa) - He's a mix of all the forwards we have chosen, it's fair to say no one had heard of him when he 1st arrived in england but his presence combined with pace has led to him being one of the league's best and helping Aston Villa towards safety.
- THE ELEVEN:
STARTING XICesar
Ivanovic Kompany Shawcross Baines
Cabaye Wilshere
Johnson Suarez Bale
Van Persie
BACK UP XISperoni(+ Mulumbu)
Clyne Hanley Caulker Figueroa
Diame McCarthy
Snodgrass Michu Ruiz
Benteke
- TACTICS:
General Tactics: Looking to play exciting, attacking football. Getting the ball and looking to play exciting stuff. We have the players going forward and should look to play fairly quickly similar to Man United or Bayern Munich, no silly tippy tappy football. We have a strong back four and need to use the physicality to our advantage, with
FBs, Baines, look to get forward link up and over lap look to get into advanced positions constantly an always be a threat, force there winger to come back and over, if he dosnt look to run at the FBs, which will in turn create room for Bale, IVanovic, be a bit more defensive when Baines gets forward make the Denise shuffle across to a 3 at the back look, in order to prevent counter attacks , when defending both will try to usher there man away from goal , try to stop any threat before it becomes one.
CB, Shawcross will take the lead, he will man mark there main man, he will get in close and constantly harass him, he will use his physical presence in order to make him make mistake and hopefully stop him being an option, Kompany will either take the 2nd striker or, sit off Shawcross and try to pick up loose balls or watch for on coming runs from any midfielders.
DMs, Cabaye will play a deep role, he will look to create chances and dictate the tempo, look to hit passes and play a cool and composed role, sit in front of the back four and get on the AM as soon as he comes into play, Wilshere will burst forward, run with the ball and force the issue look to get it forward and play the killer ball, try to turn defence into attack , when defending Wilshere sill harass the opposition not giving them any time on the ball.
W, Johnson will get wide on the right, run at the FB and look to get it onto your left foot and always look for RVP though if he is in room get it to him , like wise with Bale and Suarez, always look for the pass, if not avalible look to trouble the keeper, Always look to get back though, IVANOVIC isn't the quickest so your pace may be needed to help defensively ,Bale, always look to run, run at your man, look to get past him come in or out, if it opens up have a go, otherwise like Johnson look to get it into the anger men, Suarez and RVP , remember Baines will be overlapping so he is always an option, however with Baines coming forward alway be wary as a former LB always get back, sometimes it may only be you in a position to stop the opposition
AM, Suarez look to work off RVP, use the space he creates to run into, get at the defence, get away from your marker and get into the box , look to run at people and create room for other , always look for RVP and bale outside of you.
ST, RVP much of upr game plan is getting it to you, look for space , if you revive the ball in a shooting position take it, however look to draw centre backs wider to Create room for Suarez centrally and always look for the support of your wingers, also be prepared for crosses, mostly from the left from Baines.

Re: Team Fergie
It looks great but without being harsh to Cherries, the tactics will need to be spellchecked and presented neater. I can do that or leave it to you Trebs as the leader.
The content is fine, just I can see Azzy being a Grammar Hitler and penalising us.

Re: Team Fergie
Sorry, had to edit them as Nando's also had errors (I admit it, I'm a Grammar Nazi too )
Also reworded a couple of bits to make them clearer. Haven't changed anything from Cherries' tactics though, they're ideal

- Grammar Hitler would be proud of these tactics:
- General Tactics: Looking to play exciting, attacking football. Getting the ball and looking to play exciting stuff. We have the players going forward and should look to play fairly quickly similar to Manchester United or Bayern Munich, no silly Tiki-taka football. We have a strong back four and need to use the physicality to our advantage.
Fullbacks: Baines, look to get forward, link up and overlap. Look to get into advanced positions constantly and always be a threat. Force their winger to come back and defend. If he doesn't, look to run at the opposition fullback, which will in turn create room for Bale. Ivanovic, be a bit more defensive when Baines gets forward, move infield to make 3 at the back, in order to prevent counter attacks. When defending both will try to usher the opposition winger away from goal, try to stop any threats before they occur.
Central defence: Shawcross will take the lead, he will man mark the opposing central striker, with the intent to get in close and constantly harass him. Shawcross will use his physical presence in order to pressure him into making mistakes and hopefully stop him being an option. Kompany will either do the same to the second striker if the opposition play one, or sit off Shawcross and try to pick up loose balls, and watch for any oncoming runs from midfield.
Central midfield: Cabaye will play a deep role, he will look to create chances and dictate the tempo. Look to hit passes and play a cool and composed role. Without the ball, sit in front of the back four and get on the opposing team's attacking midfielder as soon as he comes into play. Wilshere will burst forward as our box to box midfielder, run with the ball and force the issue. Look to get it forward and play the killer ball, try to turn defence into attack. When defending, Wilshere to still harass the opposition and not allow them any time on the ball.
Wingers: Johnson will get wide on the right, run at the opposing fullback, and look cut inside onto your left foot. Always look for Van Persie though, if he is in space link with him. Same applies to Bale and Suarez, always look for the pass to Van Persie, if he is not available look to get a shot in and work the goalkeeper. Johnson will need to constantly look to get back though, Ivanovic isn't the quickest so your pace may be needed to help defensively. Bale, always look to get into space and use your pace. Run at the opposing fullback and make him commit, look to get past him, cut inside or drift outside, and if it opens up go for goal. Alternatively, like Johnson look to get it into the danger men, Suarez and Van Persie. Remember Baines will be overlapping so he is always an option, however with Baines coming forward always be wary as a former left back to track back, sometimes it may only be you in a position to stop the opposition.
Attacking midfield/Second striker: Suarez to play off of Van Persie, use the space he creates to run into, get at the defence, get away from your marker and make late bursts into the area. Look to run at people and make runs in behind, to create room for others. Always look for Van Persie or Bale/Johnson out wide.
Centre forward: Van Persie, much of our gameplan is getting the ball to you. Look to get into space, if you receive the ball in a shooting position take the chance, however primarily look to draw centre backs wider to create room for Suarez making runs. Always look for the support of your wingers, also be prepared for crosses, mostly from the left as Baines gets forward.
