Re: 3rd Oct - v2football Podcast - Questions for James Beattie and Graham Rix
Wow, those are two fantastic guests!
Questions for Beattie:
1. Did you always see yourself getting into management? If not, what changed?
2. How many times a day do you hear the words 'Accrington Stanley? Who are they?'
3. Did you ever come close to signing for a club that you really, really wanted to play for, but the move fell through? If not, is there a club you wish you'd had the chance to play for?
Questions for Rix:
1. How does it feel knowing you have a better win ratio as Chelsea manager than the 'Special One'?
2. Players in the modern game suffer extreme abuse after being released from prison, no matter their sentence or rehabilitation. How did you fare after you were released back in 1999, and how do you think you'd get on if you were coming back into the game today?
3. What went through your head as the ball left your feet to set up Alan Sunderland's winner in the 79 Cup Final?
4. Do you wish you'd left Arsenal earlier in your career, to make a go of it abroad from a younger age than you did?

That is class guys, really class
Questions for James
1. Obviously Accrington are one of the least supported sides in League 2, does this affect your budget and is it hard to compete with sides like Portsmouth, Oxford, Fleetwood etc?
2. You had a superb 7 years with Southampton, who was the best player you played with in your time there? Were you sad to leave when you joined Everon?
3. Where were you when you heard, your getting the call up for England for the first time and how buzzing were you?
Question for Graham
1. I see your manage of Portchester in the Wessex league, how many people do you get through the gates? What sort of money do you pay players at that level?
2. Who gave you, you're chance back in football when you came out of prison?
3. I noticed you were playing football for Le Harve, how different is the game out there in terms of standard compared to the standard over here?
Final question for James Beatie, does he plan on wining a game this season?
