Andrews and Hobbs are terrible scrummager.

Andrews is pretty decent, he has shown that for Wales several times nowVinceWLB wrote:Andrews and Hobbs are terrible scrummager.

Dacey still got the pace of an 8, pity he lacks the scrummaging of a hooker

I would have him as 3rd choice for the Blues, behind Bourrust and Filise who did well today.wales606 wrote:Andrews is pretty decent, he has shown that for Wales several times nowVinceWLB wrote:Andrews and Hobbs are terrible scrummager.

Good win,
pity we didn't get at least 1 more try with all that pressure in the last 20

Re: Cardiff Blues v Edinburgh Rugby, 6 October
Well positives were a much improved first 60, a strong set piece and Laidlaw and Denton played well.
Still far too many mistakes and easy points to the opposition.
Slightly less terrified about Munster in the hk next week, but still think we're on for a doing!

The second top try scores in the Rabo meet the team with the worst defence, could be quite a horror showRDW_Scotland wrote:

What a hit from Paulo! Van der Westhuizen is 18 and a half stone and was running at full speed on an artificial pich:

Re: Cardiff Blues v Edinburgh Rugby, 6 October
About time we put in a performance like that.
Commentators moaning about 1/2p kicking all the time, he's got that from Team Wales and not the Blues. Doubt they'd ever criticise them though.
Thought the centre's (all 3) did well yesterday, shame williams got injured as i think him & Allen were working well together. Hewitt did his job when he came on too so can't take anything away from him.
Defensive line is still a bit wobbly, but that's what you geet when your defence coach was the defence coach for the London Broncos...one of the worst rugby league teams in the Super League, known for getting thumpings.

Owen Williams looked the most threatening back, running good angles at pace.

It all seemed to be going quite well for Edinburgh in the 1st half. Clearly our Forwards are pretty formidable but our backs leave a lot to be desired.

Re: Cardiff Blues v Edinburgh Rugby, 6 October
Corey Allen and Owen Williams in the centres looked very good, showed glimpses of what they both can do.
About time, fans have been calling for that partnership to start getting a run out together since last season.
The edinburgh pack were strong, not sure the blues pack is the best to measure themselves against at the moment mind. Munster will be an entirely different propostition......

Something has to change at the Blues coaching setup.
