WWA: Spotlight Podcast Season 6 Empty WWA: Spotlight Podcast Season 6

Post by The_Enigma Wed 2 Oct 2013 - 11:57

Coming away from the typical media questions, we wanted to do something unique to engage everybody and to keep the conversations and topics going. Here's what we have come up with, WWA: Spotlight Podcast, each week a different promotion will go under the spotlight where other GM's can ask as many questions as they want regarding storylines, wrestlers, angles etc... about the promotion under the spotlight. Questions can be submitted from Monday with the expiry date on the following Sunday, The GM has until Sunday 23:59 to respond/answer the question in order to win money for their promotion

Every promotion will be included with a random draw determining what order we go in. This is optional so if you don't want to participate you don't have to  OK

The Promotion featured in each week will be the following...

Week 1 - ASWF
Week 2 - Kliq Wrestling
Week 3 - MWF
Week 4 - OPAL
PPV Week - PWW
Week 5 - NGPW
Week 6 - nXtreme
Week 7 - WOW

Prize Money
If you answer 4 Question - You receive £5 Million
If you answer 8+ Questions - You receive £10 Million

Once you have answered the questions, WWA Management will confirm your price fee, You will then have to confirm the price money you are eligible for by confirming in the transfer confirmation page.

QUESTIONS FOR NICK | WEEK ONE:

1. With arguably the biggest star in professional wrestling today in your roster, do you feel a pressure to write your show around him or will he have to earn his spot on the show like everybody else?

2. You have publicly said that you wanted to bring Zeb Coulter to ASWF to team with Swagger and shout "WE THE PEOPLE warning" as you were unable to acquire Mr Coulter do you see someone else stepping in to his shoes to take this role?

3. If you had the ability to take one wrestler from another roster, who would it be and why?

4: What would be the dream job within wrestling?

Question from Kliq Wrestling:

Are you going to be continuing the ASWF trend of having shows from various football grounds or will you be branching out? The Triangle in Burgess Hill seems a better proportioned venue for your show. Thoughts?

Post by Marky Mon 14 Oct 2013 - 12:45

Right, as new ASWF owner I'm gonna quickly answer questions for £10m Laugh

Viper:

1. With arguably the biggest star in professional wrestling today in your roster, do you feel a pressure to write your show around him or will he have to earn his spot on the show like everybody else?
The likelihood is that he will be in my main event but I cannot reveal too much without spoiling it. That and I'm yet to think of storylines yet Laugh The trick in WWA is to use whoever is popular and current, Daniel Bryan fits that mould.

2. You have publicly said that you wanted to bring Zeb Coulter to ASWF to team with Swagger and shout "WE THE PEOPLE " as you were unable to acquire Mr Coulter do you see someone else stepping in to his shoes to take this role?
The "We the people" story may be dropped as without the correct people to replicate the faction it would be watered down with replacements. Swagger has plenty of potential to be elsewhere in ASWF though.

3. If you had the ability to take one wrestler from another roster, who would it be and why?
Having been part of Kliq Wrestling, Brock Lesnar. Was looking forward to writing for him.

Jai:
1. You're Main Event scene looks rammed with talent, Daniel Bryan obviously the star of today, but with you a big WWE guy do you see him being swept under the carpet for guys like Austin, Edge and Scott Steiner?
Daniel Bryan is the biggest name in WWE right now, so I don't see the point of your question. All four mentioned could work alongside each other too, so no I don't think Bryan will be left out.

2. With only three "DIVA's" are you looking to use them as eyecandy or as we do at OPAL as ChickFight?
Hard to say, current level is four divas but literally no plans as yet. Definitely being used in matches as opposed to eyecandy though.

3. Some of your roster still have for sale signs stuck to them, can these guys expect not to win any championships in ASWF if they remain there?
Time will tell. If someone I have for sale remains in ASWF, I may find a role for them and it may involve Championship matches. Never say never.

Thunder:
1: Whose starting roster did you like the most?
Kliq Wrestling

2: And now?
Kliq Wrestling Laugh We built a great roster over there.

3: Being presumably new to this, how do you think you'll fare?
Would be better if there was more time to prepare, but Nick did fare pretty well with making big name signings.

4: What would be the dream job within wrestling?
Trish Stratus' masseuse

5: What job would you accept?
Hand, blow or in extreme circumstances, foot.

Anyway, questions for Kliq Wrestling.

2. What's the capital of Moldova?

Q - What kind of themes do you have planned for this season? e.g. X-Divison/Hardcore that type of thing...

Q - Looking at your roster, there's already solid foundations for a cracking Tag Divison, is this something your looking to focus on given the lack of any tag team division in WWE/TNA for the past couple of years?

Q - Apart from Brock, Will there be any more 'Paul Heyman' Guys this season?

Q - What kind of themes do you have planned for this season? e.g. X-Divison/Hardcore that type of thing…

Paul - For the first half of the season there will be a number of multi man matches as the race for ownership heats up. The match stipulations will be tailored to suit the style of competitor in each - but there are no plans for a specific match type to become the main theme.

Adam - The only other belt is the prizefighter belt which gets the winner hard cash for winning. At Kliq wrestling, we feel that the belts get in the way of the story. As does the wrestling.

Q - Looking at your roster, there's already solid foundations for a cracking Tag Divison, is this something your looking to focus on given the lack of any tag team division in WWE/TNA for the past couple of years?

Paul - Tag teams will play an important part in Kliq Wrestling. With therace for the company heating up it is more important than ever for alliances to be formed, those who do so best will be in pole position come our first ppv.

Adam - This is all about forming allegiances. Tag teams are a major part of that.

Q - Apart from Brock, Will there be any more 'Paul Heyman' Guys this season?

Paul - Nice research Mr Interviewer. The matter has been mentioned in our Season Opener, there may be one or two Heyman Guys….

Adam - yes. Thats why we wanted Robocop in our division. he is a Paul Heyman cop. And Robot.

Questions for Kliq:

* Given the chance, if you could take one member of anyones roster without having to pay or trade for them, who would it be?

* From the first set of shows posted so far, who do you see as the favourite (apart from yourself of course!) and who do you see as the weakest?

* Who do you think did the best and worst deals during trading? (again apart from yourselves and Kevin Steen haha)

Being presumably new to this, how do you think you'll fare?

Adam - I will be amazed if we dont win by a landslide

Paul - I'll be amazed if we get any votes

* What would be the dream job within wrestling?

Adam - Head of Creative/ running TNA

Paul - Pervy answer, diva masseuse. Real answer, the dream would be a wrestler main eventing Wrestlemania.

* What job would you accept?

Adam - Hosting Wrestletalk TV

Paul - Cleaning up the mess Adam made as head of TNA.

* Given the chance, if you could take one member of anyones roster without having to pay or trade for them, who would it be?

Adam - Paul Burchill

Paul - Bray Wyatt

* From the first set of shows posted so far, who do you see as the favourite (apart from yourself of course!) and who do you see as the weakest?

Paul - Considering the time he had Marky did a fantastic job, with more time and his roster he could do well. Wouldn't like to comment on the weakest, they were all good.

Adam - havent read them all yet!

* Who do you think did the best and worst deals during trading? (again apart from yourselves and Kevin Steen haha)

Adam - Kliq by signing Robocop for £5m. You decide if that was the best or worst.

Paul - Viper signing Snooki makes RoboCop look the bargain of the century!

Questions for Tooze/MWF:

1. Who do you believe could be this years stand out star for MWF
2. Given the chance, who would you bring in from someone else's roster if you didn't have to pay or trade for them?

Less related to MWF:
3. With two weeks posted, who's shows are you looking forward to the most at the moment.
4. MWF seems more focused on matches than segments, do you prefer other shows to be like this or do you enjoy more segment based stuff?

Cm punk proberly since he still hasn't lost the world title, he keeps getting it then running off Wink

I really look forward to yours viper, always something going on which is of interest to a lot of people. But I always look forward to gregers too to see what he comes up with next

I really don't mind a good mix of promos and matches, I just go the way I do because its the way mwf has always been.

Q - With the first ever HOF announcement made in WWA, who else is a future candidate in MWF?[
Corino should go in at somepoint but that will be whenever he does return next. Other than that perhaps burchill and some of the other originals that have made mwf what it is

I'm enjoying it so far, I'm not expecting any votes at all just writing stuff that I would enjoy and hope others like it as well, but having a blast so far.
If you could sign one person without trading or paying for them, who would it be?
I'd be torn between Kevin Steen or El Generico
If you could go back in time, would you change anything given hindsight?
No I'm pretty happy with how things are going
If you could see one match in Prestige Wolrdwide Wrestling, who would it be?
I'd love to see Scott Hall v Kevin Nash, nWo at war
Any Miz/Bo pun ideas for PWW?
Yes, you could recreate the Mega Powers story line ... Hulk BOgan and Macho Miz and we all know it's been longer than 7 years so it's fair game
Whose starting roster did you like the most?
I liked Nick's and think he ruined it by turning it in to WWE
And now?
My Own, obviously, is far superior lol
Out of the those new to this who do you feel will do the best?
I don't know who else is new to this lol, I have a sneaky feeling I will finish in last place
What would be the dream job within wrestling?
The Booking team, I wanna know who gives the green light to emply Horswoggle and Santino
What job would you accept?
Jobber
Who do you feel will give you the greatest challenge?
I feel everyone will give us a run ... i'm really not expecting to win, i'm just having a blast

Q - Have injuries played any role in changing current storylines this season?
Q- Being new to WWA, how have you found the league? Would you consider signing up for more seasons?
Q - Would you ever consider working in a team?

Q1: Which is your favourite feud outside of your own fed?

Q2: Which non-wrestler would you love to have in your fed if money was no object?

Q3: Which is your favourite venue used in WWA?

How would you book the Ultimate Warrior in your fed if he was a free transfer?

Question For Viper

Q - Have injuries played any role in changing current storylines this season?
Q - Would you ever consider working in a team in any future WWA Seasons?
Q - Do you have any ideas of 'Themes' for future WWA Seasons?

Q1. At the moment it's probably Kevin Steen and Mankind as it's something I'd love to see in real life, I have to give NGPW credit for probably having the best feuds this season with CM Punk and Cesaro being a close second.
Q2. Well with my current theme of awfulness I'd probably go for some awful TV host like Jeremy Kyle to interview wrestlers and bring up their past etc
Q3. Can I answer with my own? I've taken childish joy in googling the worst pub names in the USA such as Dick's Last Resort.

Well as PWW has been all about parodying certain aspects of wrestling such as "Super Cena" I'd have him crazier than ever and have him go on a Charlie Sheen style rampage leading to the death of the company when he gets them kicked off TV.

Q1. Injuries haven't changed any current story lines but the injury to Daniels in week 1 did change my first opening match with Angle taking his place, my week 4 injury actually went along with the story, having Eugene injured.
Q2. Me and Thunder have spoken about it so yeah, it's a cool option and could help stop me burning out having someone help out with ideas and writing.
Q3. Not themes really but from season 7 I will be creating an on going brand that goes in to season 8 and 9 and plays on the history of the company in future seasons such as MWF and nXtreme.

Dead last haha, I'll feel sorry for anyone if I end up beating them in the rankings, luckily, this season was never about getting points...it was about creating stupid gimmicks, stupid story lines and beating up the Miz...next season will be more serious

I also believe that's my 8 questions...£10m please!
