Looks like Cuban athletes are starting to be allowed to turn pro. That's got to be good news!
For the baseball stars, US law means that they can't be paid in the US if they pay taxes in Cuba - may be see a few over here?

Been happening for years, while not officially allowed to leave, the restrictions don't appear as strongly applied.

Meant to post on the Boxing News section but Roniel Iglesias and Robsiey Ramirez Carrazanna, the Olympic Champs at Light Welter and Flyweight respectively, have both defected to the US with the intentions of turning pro. Both class acts, Iglesias was the Val Barker winner in 2012.
