Mayweather After Dark
First topic message reminder :
We have just had a Manny Pacquiao fight so as customory we have another Mayweather videos now.
Comes in 3 parts, about him taking a trip to his mamas house.

http://fighthype.com/pages/content9911.html?PHPSESSID=0d4bbac3df324046feb3fa4c71d30579
Following Pacquiao's statement that he and Khan would never fight because they are good friends, Maywweather has offered a olive branch to Pacquiao saying he has nothing against Pacquiao and it Bob Arum is the problem.
Any take a view if you are interested and see what you think

Not sure that is a reliable source.
Have you got a reliable source for both of their diets?

The balance in how you take them is. It makes a change from guiness and steak to add strength and throw in a Jack Daniel for aggression.

Yeah, because they didn't have chicken, rice, potatoes and oranges back in Jeffries' day. That's why he could only high jump 6ft. and run 100yards in under 11 seconds. Imagine how well he might have done if he'd had an orange. Chris Arreola has it so much better. Must check out his diet. Or Solis'. Or Toney's.

Windy modern boxing has still a lot of catching up to.
Not many take an approach that Pacquiao takes.
And 100 yard is not as far as 100m.
I use to do the 100m in under 12 sec.

Not sure anybody believes half of what you say, either. Jeffries was timed more than once in performing the feat, and he regularly outsprinted Corbett in training. Plenty of corroborative evidence.

Oh they had it but didn't know what benefits it had. They probably fried the chicken with Col Sanders' help. Nowadays boxers take the skin off and steam the chicken. Also have brown rice, pasta and bananas.
Now just imagine if Jeffries had a better diet. Imagine how high he could jump and how fast he could run. Was he times electronically or hand held?
Yep, look at Chris Arreola's new fitness. Better shape that Galento who was a model HW in that era.

Think Jeffries was telling porkies.
Need some primary evidence here
Burke surprisingly won the 100 metres. He was also noted for his "crouch start", which was uncommon at that time but in standard use now. His time in the final was 12.0 seconds. In the preliminary heat he had even better time – 11.8 seconds.

There was only one Galento. Nearly every modern heavy is an Arreola. Difference is that Galento could fight. I believe that they timed Jeffries by sundial, and the chickens of his day hadn't yet evolved to having skin. Of course, bananas hadn't been discovered, either.

Regrettably, Manny Pacquiao is the only human being capable of time travel, D4, so primary evidence is out of the question. However, the sources from which I gathered the information have proven reliable in everything else, and he didn't only achieve the feat once.
With respect, I don't give a rat's backside whether you believe it or not. I don't believe anything you say about Mayweather, either, so we have something in common.

In fact there is evidence to the contrary that he is not since he did not have the record back then.

I certainly don't when you write it. The record in 1906 was 9 seconds. In 1890 the record was 9.8 seconds. Jeffries did it around 1902 to 1904. Nowhere remotely near the world record.
Get your facts right.

If they were hand timing they could be a couple of seconds out. I am not doubting Jeffries was a fast runner.
And if they were electronically timed the batteries could have been flat. Let it go, man. It was timed, at least twice, has been accepted for over 100 years and neither your stubborness nor D4's lies about world records are going to change it.

I said modern. According to you the black and white TV boys are prehistoric, so Lewis would be middle ages. ( I believe that chickens had skin and feathers, by then. ) I'm referring to those modern, super - fit beneficiaries of brown rice and bananas, Solis, Arreola, Peter, etc.
