To be fair to the ref, Even im confused as to how the ball went outside the net yet ended up in it Erm  Id expect with all the bodies in the box for the corner he'd presume it went straight it

Everyone seemed to snigger over my signing of Sidney Sam but a record so far this season of 10 goals and 6 assists in 13 games would have everyone jizzing themselves over him if he was in the Premier League.

Oh and his goals/assists have been a huge reason as to why they currently sit above both of the Champions League finalists from last season.

Sydney Sam is a quality Winger for me. Really doing well for Leverkusen this season. Not their only outlook, but would be a good signing for someone like Arsenal who I feel might need a Winger.

It's not Sidney Sam, it's the sheer brilliance of Stefan Kießling. Probably one of the most under-rated strikers in Europe.

Can't believe what Ginola said on BT Sport though. "Newcastle were playing rally well up until that point, so it shouldn't have been a red card." Might have been worded wrong but from my interpretation he's trying to say that just because Newcastle are playing well it's not a red card? No sir.

All credit Newcastle, they worked hard and for me if they had 11 men on the pitch they might have just sneaked a 2-1 win out of that game. But they put the work in and deserved a point there. Some good work from them.

Hey Guys

Not entirely sure how this works as it's my first post on this forum so if anything goes badly wrong, there is a reason.

I come to you from JA606, a different forum, where I also do SG. I have a league set up there, the SG league (some may have heard of it) but I'm one member short and was told that the fellows over on this forum are really nice and might pop across to help.

I'm sure we'd all get along. Just consider it

But at least I don't play Gio Van Bronkhorst at LB on my league when he's been retired for 2 years and say that was to test me on my league running skills. Whistle

Those guys take themselves too seriously and refuse to talk about anything other than football and the league.

They are also a bit stuck in the dark ages when it comes to player ratings. De Rossi and Chiellini are still rated as the best DM and CB in their eyes, whilst Hummels and Vidal are just okay apparently

I don't live a lot in the past. I'm saying that there are a good 3/4 DM's above De Rossi but they say he's the best? Far from it. Martinez, Busquests, Y. Toure and maybe even L. Bender on his current form. He is top quality, but there are others above him. Matic maybe up there as well.

Captain United wasn't good tactically but was a good dealer on the euro games, along with Luka, Kamran, pullthestrings and the rest.

As for ratings, they wouldn't really rate Barkley or Ramsey ao highly as they haven't done a hell of a lot over a sustained period of time. Someone like Rosicky would be rated higher as they've been decent several seasons.

Oh trust me. Half of them lot still think that Bergkamp is the best Striker in the PL. Especially on LSTD's League. So many evaluate from years ago. I suppose it is them that just because they stood out as the best for 1 season about 5 years ago, they are still the best in today's age. It's mainly those that have been there though for 2/3 seasons + that think that a lot of the time. It's just such poor standards.

OTW, Capain I do think is a good solid member and his tactics are arguably one of the best in my league actually, they have improved over time I do feel. They don't. Januzaj, Barkley, Ramsey etc they all feel are going to be like Macheda's or Diaby like players. That's there idea. Just because they've seen it before and live in the past.

So, because my QPR team wasn't the best in the league yet still better than your Everton side, I have an opinion that they don't rate younger and more talented players nowadays. That's your league anyway, who's bothered about that.

At the end of the day, I've been in that league far longer than you, you left after a week and then decided to rejoin. They are well behind in the times really.

No it wasn't. My first 11 was better and a few squad players would gt into your team probably. People only said my team was so poor because I left the league, again. The real reason I left the league is because most members are complete tw*** so that was it really. A lot got on my nerves.
