Hogan Quits And I Might Be Next

This is now my second article for Wrestletalk and I feel that I should let you, the readers, know where my wrestling allegiances lie.
I have been following wrestling from the very early WWF days (I hit 40 this year if that puts it in context) and have seen WCW come and go in that time. Over the last few years, my wrestling joy has without a doubt been TNA Impact.
Even now, I would rather watch Impact each week than the alternative from Titan Towers. However, my patience with TNA has grown terminally thin.
As I write this, we are under 2 weeks away from the most important date in TNA’s calendar - Bound for Glory.
This is the show that TNA has been (or should have been) building up for the last 12 months. This is the show, that should be the show-reel for TNA to sell its product to the rest of the world.
This is the show that could be the make or break for TNA.
And believe me, that is no hyperbole to try and grab headlines. Dixie and Co. are in dire straits and something needs to happen. That something SHOULD be Bound For Glory.
However, looking at the current card, I ask, what match has been built well?
Styles vs Bully?
Nope, Bully is feuding with his faction, and Styles is feuding with a middle aged woman.

Kind of an extension of what CrippledTart said in his article.
Am I right in thinking BFG is meant to be TNA's equivalent of Wrestlemania...that is, their main event of the year?
If thats the case, then I'm equally mystified that they seem to be treating it as just another PPV.
Developing feuds and storylines has never been TNA's strong point (at least, not as long as I've been watching)...think they've tended to rely on their roster's in-ring talent to carry their shows.
However, as Crips said, its difficult to care who wins, when half the time you have no idea why they're fighting in the first place. You'd think the audience reactions at some of the shows might cue them in on this.
Also agree when he said that, unless they start building up their stars, giving them plausible feuds and good longer-term storylines, they're never going to grow their fanbase - worse, they could start to lose the fans they do have.
