ps4 season pass Empty ps4 season pass

Just a quick question,

I have pre ordered Call of Duty Ghosts on the PS4.
I have bought the season pass on the playstation store but have not downloaded it yet, as am thinking if i do would i then have to install it on a ps3 copy or can i leave it till i get my copy on ps4, then download, dont really want to have to buy the pass twice or two copies of the game

I don't know for sure but if it was me i would wait but saying that if you download anything from the PS store you are able to redownload again for free.
