The Realistic League Rules
General Rules
This is a Realistic Premier League. The league has 8 teams with a set budget for each team. This means that everything in the league will have to follow like in reality. If you have any questions on the matter, please, don't hesitate to ask.
Squad Size
Squads must be no more than 30 in the size. You can have little players as you like, so long as you can get a Starting 11 in. If you go over the limit, if it is not sorted by the end of the working week, then the amount of players you are over the limit will be released randomly and you will not receive any cash from the releases and are available to be picked up by anyone else for free. You may not buy that player back for a whole week.
Domestic Transfers
Domestic Transfers are negotiations that go on in the league. This is between you and the person you are negotiating with. You can offer them any sort of deal you like but a deal will not be agreed until both managers accept the proposed offer and it has been confirmed on the Transfers Confirmation page. If you fail to confirm your transfer within 24 hours, the players are still in your squad. You may try and counter the deal in place if it hasn't already been confirmed. There is no limit to the amount of Domestic Transfers you make.
Foreign Transfers
Foreign Transfers are negotiations that go on outside the league. This is between you and the club outside of the league you wish to open negotiations with. Be aware, please think of realistic targets as I will be quite strict and solid dependent on the recent availability of the player, his current options at his desired club and his squad status at his club compared to yours. So they will go down on how well the Transfer Manager rate the players. You can only sign up to 2 players per day, remember not to spend your whole budget at once!
Bids need to placed before 6pm each day, any bid placed after that time will count towards the following days quota.
Releases
You can make up to 3 releases per day. When you release a player, it will be half of their transfermarkt value. If you have signed a player from another club (Domestic/Foreign) then it will be half of what you signed them for.
Loans
You can loan up to 5 players in your squad. If you are wanting to loan players from a club outside the league, they must be realistic and not be playing for their club regularly and you must pay a solitary fee towards the loan. You can loan for free domestically but if you want to add fee's, you can do so. All loans are for a minimum 3 game period and cannot be recalled during that period.
Player Offers
You will occasionally get offers from clubs outside the league of cash for some of your players. This is all dependent on where they need to improve, if they are interested in reality and how much the player if valued at his club. These will be handled by the Transfer Manager.
Tactics
There will be up to 2 rounds of fixtures every week, usually 1 each week though, sometimes cups. For each game that week, managers must provide a Team Sheet + Subs and a minimum of 5 bullet points if required but a maximum of 10. These bullet points must include instructions for your players. Please be aware that Injuries do play a part and if you play an injured player then you will lose 1 goal for each injured player you play.
The deadline for Tactics for a normal week will be Friday at 23:59. For a midweek game it is Wednesday 17:00. If you are unable to meet a deadline, please make sure you notify this anyway possible to the league runners. Failure to hand in Tactics will result in an automatic 3-0 defeat if away and 2-0 defeat if at home. Results will be decided by the league runners.
Please submit your tactics via PM to Hero (if you are playing Hero then please submit them to Fernando). The league runners will handle any problems.
Results
Results will be handled by the Results Manager. He will judge by his own opinion the Results of a certain game and will take all aspects into account going into the game. They will be posted just in Results form with maybe a small description on the league homepage every weekend. There will be a back-up Results Manager as well.
Injuries
3 Injuries will be drawn to every club each week. You CAN NOT transfer out an injured player to a club OUTSIDE of the league, this is deemed as gaining an advantage on other players in the league, however, they can be transferred out to domestic members in the league and the injury will carry over to that club as well.
Media
Media will be handled by the Interviewer. We are expecting he shall update the Media every week or so unless he states otherwise. Their will be 5 questions every week for you to answer and it will earn you a solitary £1M for completing it. However, it must be 2/3 lines long minimum, not one/two word answers.
Bonuses
There are plenty of ways of earning money in the league, below is a list of all the possible ways of earning money in the league:
Tactics = £1M
Media = £0.5m
Awards
Awards will be announced at the end of every season/month. The awards will be Player of the Month (POTM), Manager of the Month (MOTM), Player of the Season (POTS) and Manager of the Season (MOTS). If you/a player at your club wins these awards, you can add £1M to your budget.
There will be no cash rewards for league standings at the end of the season, it will just be down to Sponsorship's and awards.
Finally...
If you attempt to loophole the rules then you will be fined.
