France New Zealand match / build up
First topic message reminder :
I thought the AB looked a little tired against Japan so it wouldn't surprise me if France won this one if they hit the ground running that is.
from the AB website:
Les Bleus can dominate in the scrum, execute master classes in loose play, run magical lines to weave spells that no team can overcome, and put together periods where no side can match.
They haven't done that for a while!
The All Blacks have won 16 out of 23 games in France.
French team vs All Blacks
Dulin
Fofana
Huget
Fritz
Médard
Tales
Parra
Mas
Kayser
Forest
Maestri,
Pape
Chouly
Lauret
Dusautoir (cap)
Substitutes: Szarzewski, Debaty, Slimani Vahaamahina, Claassen, Doussain, Lopez, Fickou

They've played well and have looked sharp. They deserve to be all even going into the sheds.

Re: France New Zealand match / build up
Still confident. NZ need to go up a gear or two and I could see a couple of the French forwards tiring. Back to some structure I reckon...play the corners/ territory game then go from there. Hate to say it but I think we need Barrte on as impact again...

france have slight edge in forwards and contact area, NZ look much more dangerous when they get the ball to the backs.
going to be a really interesting second half.

Good contest; kia. Agree with the French kicking comment. They have played a Toulouse style game in the forwards on occssion - lots of offloads and should go with that.

NZ playing the wrong part of the ground. They just need to settle and get the ball in the French half. Good to be tested Tman. I welcome the challenge of getting back into this game. France 3 points up.

Re: France New Zealand match / build up
Poor kicking from both sides but Dagg shifts it wide and kicker caught out in defence and a good kick through from Smith and Piutau hungry and a good score. Will that spark NZ or will it spark back a French comeback? Important score regardless.

Poor kick from Nonu but a better one in the second for a nudge through. Much better continuity from NZ and down the right end of the park.

What's with the white kit, are they copying England?

No worries mate. Adidas trying to sell some white kit I feel Scrumpy. Not happy about it as there's no need.
Carter an interesting change. Will Luatua come on for Messam. Or will they rest a lock for next week? Cane might rest somebody but I have a feeling it won't be McCaw.

Dan Carter doesn't miss a goal and Cruden misses with his first.

Our line out going well. French doing a lot of running with the ball, playing with good adventure

Fofana is just a wonderful player. Looks menacing on attack and defence.
French back line is way too deep. They're losing ground when they spin it out wide.

Some good defence from both sides. One on Dagg to turn the ball over and then Piutau to get the penalty. Attacking lineout NZ ball. Need points here and then life is very difficult for France.

If Savea is fit next week and Jane has looked good on his comeback, I still think Piutau deserves a start.

That's got the crowd back!! Great response from France. Good to see them not curl over. Makes for an interesting finish. What will the NZ response be now?

At last France manages to get through for a try, they are trying hard but the AB execution has just been more clinical
