Re: Super League Homepage
It's now official, Burgess has joined Bath! Can't believe it to be honest, really not sure what I think. Appears we've spunked our £500k extra cap on one bloke.

Re: Super League Homepage
I know he is one hell of a league player, but don't know what to make of him in union. Just doesn't seem as though there is a natural fit, especially at Bath with Garvey and Eastmond at 6 and 12.
I said on another thread that Eastmond and him as a combo could be good, but not sure tbh

Will be adding McNicholl to my squad now, hoping he tears it up in the Super 15!

8 I think is where he'll play for Bath. Means he'll have to be stellar to get capped

Re: Super League Homepage
He won't be competing for the 2015 World Cup. If I'm wrong I'll be happy as it will have meant he will have gelled better than any other recent convert including SBW (poor first season at Toulon, then bit player in 2011) or Folau (still has exposable flaws at FB). Or he'll have been chucked in regardless and that would be awful

Re: Super League Homepage
Absolutely, although at the time I knew very little about Ewers, Wilson, Jones.
Would definitely have looked to improve elsewhere using some of those guys, particularly Croft who no one seemed to want !

We could look into starting it again, but like last time we do really lack numbers.

I know, just wistful thinking, especially as my starting situation with Worcester is not quite as good in the long standing Premiership!

Re: Super League Homepage
We could look at maybe restarting/starting a new come the new season next year.
Yeah it takes some time to get your team right. I only won my first league game two months back

Re: Super League Homepage
Your locks are good though, and Bonnaire gives you the lineout king .. Tough to say, maybe impact players off the bench is one thing letting you down a touch

Re: Super League Homepage
Where you fell this week IMO was Bathite targeting the breakdown and having such a good front row. Your frobt row will be better with Cole back in form next season and Mako will improve, but you could sign someone like Pocock should he prove himself back to give yourself another option at the breakdown

Re: Super League Homepage
I'm making my comeback into the backrow at 6/8 and don't like wearing a head guard.
